how many people actually tent camp

I tent camped, actually flew down and tent camped in December once. This was back before airline bag fees came into being. It was such a good time, definitely some of my favorite memories. Even when I don't stay there I make it a point to spend some time at Fort Wilderness.

How is it tent camping in the Fall? We are thinking of going in October and have only camped once before and that was in the Spring. Is it cold at night?

I suppose it depends on the particular year -- I was there 5 years ago from the last couple of days of October to the first couple of days of November and it was VERY VERY HOT. I was really surprised just how hot it was even at night.

From looking at the highs and lows, you really need to prepare for it to be hot or cold. Temperatures range from highs in the 90s to lows in the 40s.
