OK - so I am LAST MINUTE packing! We leave on Monday and I'm packing for 2 17 month old kids, do I bring 2 outfits per day? Seems like a ton of clothes. This is our first trip with kids, please help me out! Thanks!!

I do bring 2 outfits a day because usually after break we want fresh clothes. However I am one of those that will wash a small load or two halfway through the trip so we just re-wear our washed clothes and that makes it seem like I am just packing one outfit a day.

However since we are going in November for the first time, I will have to pack a few extras like sweat shirts and sweat pant/track pants for the kids and jeans for me and DH. So I will be packing extras this time.

17 mos. twins at Disney...GOD BLESS YOU! My twins are 6 and we went last week for the very 1st time! I did pack 2 outfits a day, but most days we didn't even return to the room until late at night. Always better to have more than run short!

Have a great time x's 2 :)

I would pack for 2 outfits a day. There are washer and dryers there, but IMO they are not efficient at all..very small and expensive..it cost me $12 to do two loads of laundry and they STILL weren't fully dry two hours later...

I found we packed way too much in the way of clothes. If you have the room, pack 2 outfits. I packed 10 outfits for my niece (4.5) and did laundry twice while we were at WDW for 14 days.

I had no problem with the dryers. Maybe I didn't have as much laundry as others as it was just my niece and I. I did buy a little zippered laundry bag and put our socks and underware in it so they would not get lost.

Bring your own soap and dryer sheets as it will save you alot of money.

We are also leaving Monday & I haven't started packing either :sad2:.

I would pack 2 outfits each, I would rather have to many than not enough ;)

You all going to the Halloween Party?

We aren't going to the Halloween Party this year, but we've been in the past and it's sooooooooooo fun! I think we want to do early nights with the kids this time, we'll see how that goes. Have fun!!

I would pack enough clothes to get you through 1/2 the week with 2 outfits a day. I would then do wash and reuse the outfits the rest of the week. Doing wash there isn't really a big deal and with 2 17 month olds I am sure they can get all sorts of nasty stuff on their clothes that I wouldn't want to smell/deal with when I get home.

Put the kiddos down for a nap and have DH stay with them. You go to the pool, pop the laundry in (most of the resorts have laundry facilities at the pools) and then lounge a read a good book. Doesn't sound too bad to me!

On our vacation to Northern CA last month we brought two outfits per day. It wasn't always needed, but she did have a few days where the change of clothes was welcome (she was 13.5 months). We're also bringing the disposable bibs that Pampers makes, since this can help cut down on the number of outfit changes per day, and then you don't have to worry about bringing dirty bibs home. One thing that might help is to pack some basics, like solid colored knit pants or shirts, that way you don't need an ENTIRE outfit, and if one item gets stained/dirty, just change that half of the outfit and you're good to go! :goodvibes

I always do laundry on vacation if it's convenient. That way I can pack a lot less and I don't come home with a ton of dirty clothes. We belong to DVC and there is a washer/dryer in the room which is great. I do two loads a day (one for clothes, one for towels).

I am a HUGE overpacker, but to me, it's better to be safe than sorry.

When my girls were younger, I always packed 2 outfits per day. You never know if someone spills something on themselves, they have an accident, a diaper leaked, and the list goes on...........

I always ended up bringing a ton of clean clothes home, that were never needed, but I always felt less stressed knowing that I had a quick change of clothes if needed.:thumbsup2

I am taknig 2 made be me customs per day with 2 extras just in case for DD5. We are driving so I can pack whatever I can get in the car and I do NOT want to have to do laundry.

where are you staying? I usually do 1 outfit per day and if need be go to the laundry.
