My relatives, and most other folks we talk to, think we're nuts for going to WDW again this year after "just going last May." They also think we're nuts (1) for going to WDW a total of 4 times in 20 years (crazy to go "so often", I know
) and (2) because we go to ALL 4 of the WDW parks
. The most we get is a grudging, well "we could see going to Epcot occasionally, but why bother with the rest?"How many of you just go to Epcot?
One of my sisters would love to go to MK, but her SO "hates amusement parks, because roller coasters give migraines" I've tried to convince both of them that roller coasters are just a very small part of MK, and you could still get your money's worth without the roller coaster rides, but still they don't go. Another sister thinks we waste our Florida vacations..."you could be at a beach condo for a week for the cost of Disney"--she's been to Florida, with free lodging at a friend's house in Tampa area--every year for the last 15 years, sometimes twice a year--and has only gone to Epcot once. Never to the other parks. And can't see any reason to try them. Doesn't like "amusement parks". Won't listen to my explanation of what the parks are really like. Poor thing.
Brothers, as well as many friends, just can't see the point of that kind of vacation...the consensus seems to be that only Epcot is worth seeing, and that's more of a once-in-a-lifetime thing, like going to Paris, going to the Grand Canyon, going to Epcot...Are we really crazy? I guess the dancing banana says it all...
