STILL only through January 10th! I sure am hoping that it's worth the wait

Who else???

Good luck....I feel your pain! Our grp waited months for Dec. to open, then the best prices were not the times we needed. We had to pay $190pp. At least they are non-stop and great times.

I have been waiting and by the looks of things I will have to wait a lllloooonnnnnggggg time before my dates ever show up. I guess I don't see why Southwest feels they have to release such a limited amounts of dates. I'm a planner and this is the last thing that I have to book. I'm seriously considering just booking through Air Tran because I'm already tired of waiting plus I can't figure out when they release dates. They don't seem consistent but maybe that's just me. As you can tell I'm not the most patient person in the world. If I do muster up what little patience I have left and book Southwest, it better be worth my while!!
:bounce: :Pinkbounc :) :D :Pinkbounc :bounce:

We are already booked with a Group... which guarantees us a seat... however... I am looking for the better rate! And of course I have to watch every day because those good rates sure do go fast!!!

I think we are currently paying.... hmmm... I think $240. Which is a bit more than I want to pay... anything under $200/ round trip is what we are shooting for!

I guess we like southwest for the non-stop flights! I looked at Air Tran once but I forget why we didn't use them:rolleyes:

I called on Monday and asked when they would be opening up flight times in March. He said that he was surprised that they have not changed it yet and that they had been getting lots of calls about opening up later dates. He said that he thought it would be Tuesday evening. So I guess we will be watching late tonight. I sure hope he is right. We are needing 3 tickets for my in laws.

I just got off the phone with a SW rep and she read me a screen that she had searched for. It said that on or about September 19th at 10:00am Central Time, the booking date would be extended through March 8th! Oooooohhh I hope so and I hope it will be worth the wait!

Thanks for the update chrisn. I guess we will all be calling at the same time. Good luck to all.

Thanks for the update! If SW is opening up that many dates at once I may try to hold out for the next round when my dates should be available! Post back here once you've checked your rates or made reservations to let us know what kind of deal you received. If it's really good, I'll try to be patient and wait my turn!! Remember to have the phone set on speed dial and good luck!:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

? Goin2disney our anyone else.
If you have already purchased your tickets and then the fare is lowered will they credit you the difference? I would assume that they will not call and tell of a lower fare but that you have to keep checking it out and notify them of the change and ask for a credit?
Thanks

I was under the impression that they would come out on a Tuesday when the "specials" came out. It would be great if they come out tomorrow. But, I don't know why they are closing the dates on a Sat. We will be returning on Sunday March 9th. I guess I'll have to buy one-way or get the round trip and then figure out how to change the return dates when they release them

There are only a certain number of discounted seats per flight... and they do not credit you the difference without you asking. So I am waiting just like everyone else... the only difference is right now I have guaranteed seats for our group. We are returning on a Sunday and unfortunately they said that the cheaper seats were pretty much taken... I suppose alot of groups are booked on that flight:confused:

I don't claim to understand it... just trying to deal with it!

I need to book through the reservation system - but everyone keeps telling me it isn't in their computer yet!!!!!

I had to end up booking on the internet anyway. Everything except the "internet" pricing already sold out! But I got all 4 r/t tickets for $442.00 :teeth: :earseek: :earsgirl:
