Rainforest Cafe is not run by Disney, and in the past, you couldn't even make a PS there, just had to show up and wait...and wait...and wait...!! I guess that's why they have a little different PS set-up.

k&a&c'smom- I KNEW I wasn't crazy! I thought I had heard a while ago that you couldn't make PS at the RFC at DTD. My friend kept insisting you could so I emailed IPO the other day and asked about it. I was really surprised when Melissa wrote me back and said we could indeed do that and to let her know the day and time and she'd take care of it for us. If it's not owned by Disney (which I didn't know) then that's probably exactly why the reservation will be in our last name instead of the normal confirmation #. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

kac'smom....I saw those rates on mousesavers and thought that those were wonderful rates for the other resorts, but not for the deluxes...much less CL.
But, like you, I feel something discounted is better than nothing!

I remember a time when we were packing those things for DS...
now it's his gameboy, game cartidges, CD player and CDs, shorts, tees, swimsuit and a cap (so he doesn't HAVE to comb his hair!)
DH let him pack his own bag this last time, (big mistake) and he went to WDW without packing his undies!

mom_rules...ead79 has some wonderful pics of the garden suites! DH and I are still planning on staying there, but not until September.
And CL is included with the suites.
Let me see if I can find her pics somewhere.

Man, the pics of the garden suite are awesome. I've had the on my list to stay in when we go to BWI....in the future that is. It's got my name written all over it.

Yes, 8 LONG years since our last trip. Only had one DS then, now we have two sweet boys. Kind of nervous about traveling with an 18 month old but we waited SO many years to have him, I can't wait to share this experience with him and the rest of our family!

luckywife~I LOVE the RF restaurant. I have never had to wait for a table (I have a lifetime Corp. Card which permits me VIP access & immediate seating...really neat~as it's CLEAR). We always dine there 3-5 times per visit. The one downtown...sometimes has wait-times of 2-3 hours! So, the card has certainly come in handy!
I hope you have an INCREDIBLE time on your trip/visit. Is it true? Eight years?!? Wow...you DESERVE extra MAGIC!!

*Bambi~I LOVE the garden suites...and it is the ONLY way we ever stay at the BW. We had one of the nicest (yes...they vary) on our last visit. You completely "forget" you are in WDW...as the little garden is amazing! The quiet pool is so close...and the entire area so developed (with plant life). I'd have to look~up our cottage #, but it was one near the end of the row...which seemed to be the most "private" and secluded. These little mini-houses are the BEST~kept secret at WDW. Shhh...

Valgal~I'm an official BAG~INSPECTOR at our home...LOL. Otherwise, DD would bring ALL of her shoes!! The story of Bambi's son forgetting to pack the undies is absolutely PRICELESS~! Just wait until she tells THAT one to his prospective spouse someday....

*Waiting patiently for the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT from DCL this am! I'm jumping onboard for these cruises!!

Good morning, all! Got on the WDW site this morning and saw that the new Florida resident prices are out, through Aug 28. . . it's so hard not to pick up the phone and BOOK!

It shows Deluxe rates at $114 and up. . .hmmmm. . wondering what I can get CL rate for. . .

I don't remember who posted about getting a copy of your itinerary. All you have to do is call the IPO office and they will e-mail you one. I have a few copies as we have changed things around a few times.

Thank you all for your good wishes. I called the other hospital in our area and they can get DS in tomorrow morning at 7:30 am for the test. I might end up paying cash for it but I don't care. We should have the results tomorrow afternoon.

Do you think the smaller discounts were aimed at CL? I do. Poly GVC with ap in value season would have been ~~~ $240. Now it is $306..... If you take $85.00 off all deluxe rooms instead of a percentage, you end up with basically no disount on the CL portion....

Or am I doing murky math??

Not that I'm going to change and not do CL...

Steffy - LOL! I think you got your wires crossed up, somewhere!! Poly GV CL in value season is $390 + tax, after the AP discount it is $305 + tax, or $340.07. Not as big a discount as the last few codes, but still a discount. Percentage wise, comes out to about 21.79%, a little better than AAA. Oh, well, what can you do?! I agree, though, it's as if Disney said, "If they can afford to do the most expensive rooms, they don't need as much of a discount!"
