Was at YC CL over Easter-Travis was not there but I have four CM's tied for the best award- Jenny, Leigh, Betty and Terri.
Hi guys!!! Absolutely the most wonderful, helpful people around (and I emailed the YC and told them so too!). Also my IPO from beginning to end - Amy - She was awesome-even followed up to make sure we had a great stay and a safe trip home.

My SENTIMENTS precisely! Thank you for posting and clarifying this for me. I truly believe CL directly attributes to my DH's "mood & temp" while in WDW (or any other resort). He is always in a good mood, but even MORE SO when he is STRESS FREE (which CL affords). It sometimes seems the weight of the world sits upon DH's shoulders...so it is nice to shift the crux elsewhere when we travel. He can truly relax..if he doesn't have to WORRY about things, and/or be preoccupied with details. Parking VALET is also another nice perk. It's simple, safe and convenient. With the CL staff taking care of things, we are left with a worry/stress-free visit. No time is squandered: "making phone calls and/or reservations, searching for our vehicle in the rain/lightning, waiting in long/crowded food lines for breakfast, having to turn our sheets down to slip into bed each eve" (okay...we could always sleep on TOP of the covers if turndown was not available... ). Some people say TIME IS MONEY. I say TIME...is Life. LIFE is much MORE valuable than any money. Money, while it certainly buys a lot of things, can not buy more TIME (LIFE). So...spend WISELY.

Tamby - You are absolutely right, I know, we should try to get to know the cm's. I have a problem with shyness, hard to imagine, I know! Whenever I would be in the lounge, I would think I would go over to say something to one of the cm's, but they were very busy, I didn't want to bother them. And, I usually can't think of anything to say, if I don't know someone, other than "hi" and mumble something about the weather!! The CL cm's do so much to make our lives easier while on vacation, and that is just priceless, isn't it?!

BT is soooo right, take care of others and they'll take care of you. Those CM's know her on 1st name basis - LOL! Need I say more??? People love to feel special at least I know I do. Make someone else's day and pass that feeling onto them.

DF - Even though I am not a wealthy person, I do like those little extras, even before I went CL. I've always used valet parking, even when we just parked the car until the day we left. Never know when you might decide you want the car, and it's just so much easier to call down and have them go fetch it!!

And, though I used to wonder what the big deal was with CL making your PS's, when you could just call up and do it yourself, I would never say I "loved" making my own PS's - it is kind of a pain, really, waiting on the phone, sometimes getting great classic Disney music, but often not. But, I still did not think that alone was worth the price of CL - until I had it done!! Wow, what a difference! No long phone calls, waiting for CRO to bring up their computers, take down your info, get your conf. #, etc. Just a quick, simple email to Aida, and it was done. And, the great bonus, the very quick service when it came time to actually use your PS! As I've posted before, I was so impressed with the fact that DD and I never waited more than 2-3 minutes to be seated, with a great table, and this during crowded Easter week!!

And, I, too, looove turndown service, the little touch-up mousekeeping and covers folded down, so cozy!!

THANKS FOR THE WELCOME. I HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU. IT IS THE LITTLE EXTRAS THAT MAKE IT SPECIAL. MY KIDS COME HOME SO SPOILED FROM A DISNEY VACATION. THEY LOVE THE CL LEVEL AND TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF IT. THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE WILL DO ALMOST ANYTHING FOR YOU AND MAKE YOU FEEL THAT THEY TRULY ENJOY DOING IT. WHEN WE STAYED AT THE YC CL LAST SEPTEMBER I WANTED TO SEND A FRIEND WHO WAS STAYING AT A DIFFERENT HOTEL A WEDDING GIFT SINCE I MISSED HIS WEDDING BECAUSE I WAS ALREADY IN DISNEY. TRAVIS HAD A WEDDING PICTURE OF MICKEY AND MINNIE AUTOGRAPHED FOR THEM. THE CARD WAS THEN HAND DELIVERED TO THEM AT THERE HOTEL. I FEEL THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY.IT IS DEFINITLY WORTH THE EXTRA COST.

VAgal - we leave next Wednesday before the sun comes up! I got my planning done too early this time (the hazards of letting IPO do it all for you!) and I've been going crazy trying to be productive until then. I'm redesigning my little CM thank yous; my niece will help me sprinkle "pixie dust" on them when I watch the kids tomorrow. They just love glitter & glue and all other things messy! Once that's done I might have to stay away from this thread until next week so I can stop thinking about this trip!

I am not usually the one to ask for PD and P, but my father just called me on the phone. My SIL (DB's wife) was out with her friends' last night after work in downtown Detroit. From the information I am getting, what is perceived as a good area and known entertainment spot. THey were robbed while walking down the street... gave the guys everything- jewelry, money, purses. The men turned away and they thought they were in the clear, then he fired off a shotgun into my SIL's leg. All I know is that she has had her fourth surgery today. I don't know the distance the gun was, or if anyone else was injured. I do know they have no suspects, except for a local gang that has "shoot a person" as initiation. I guess the other gang has "kill a person". I am not sure why SIL was down there, but I do know she works in that area. DB and her live in West Bloomfield which is north of Detroit (then I am in the sticks way north of them). I am rambling, sorry. I work in the inner city of Flint (by choice) and I just don't get it. I don't think I ever will. I wonder every day whether I am doing the right thing or helping someone NOT fall into the same routine as aroud them, then I get a call like this.

I am cutting/pasting cross referencing to the S/D thread. Please put my brother and my SIL in your prayers.

Debbie, I am so sorry to hear about your SIL. I can't imagine how frightening that must've been! I will say a prayer that she will have a complete and speedy recovery. for you as well.

Oh, floridafam, I certainly will keep you and DS in my thoughts! I acquired asthma in adulthood, when I was nearly 40 yrs. old! I have a sneaking suspicion that I had it before then, it just went undiagnosed. Asthma is not a fun disease to have, but manageable if you are vigilant with treatment (I'm not very good, I have to admit.) I have to get pneumonia and flu shots every year, and I usually end up with bronchitis in Jan. and again in the fall. Hopefully, your Dr. is just being overly cautious when he mentioned CF, and the tests will come out just fine, I'm sure of it. Best wishes for you and your whole family!

Debbie - Just read your post while posting. So sorry, dear one, that you are having your own family crisis. I will certainly be thinking of you, and positive thoughts your way. The whole country seems to be spiraling down into violence, it's just hearbreaking. Please post as soon as you find out SIL is OK.
