steveanddonna...first of all, a BIG HUG

goes to you for saying those sweet things about us on the "snobby" thread!
Thank you for making such a positive observation about us Lounge Lizards!
And as for your dilemna...if you can swing the airfare, do BOTH!
Those companion passes are GREAT! That's how DH and I fly on SWA!
I understand about the nephew thing, because we are bringing our 6yo niece in June and my parents. And the holidays are beautiful at WDW, no doubt about that!
And being able to experience 2 resorts IS NICE!
Tell DH that the weather in early December is known to be very nice also, which is true!
We swam during our last Dec trip at Poly and AKL!
but, remember, it was the first week of December.
Weather here in the South...you never know what to expect!
Last fall fashions I had to EAT, because it didn't get cold in the Texas Hill Country until the holidays!
Oh, yes! I remember now....(sep at birth? remember our PM?)
OK...this is what to do.
Book the first one-but a shorter stay, then book the second one like you want for the holidays!
Then, DH will start ADDING nights to the first trip...
on his own when he realizes that you're doing two trips and he
wants/haves to get in that longer October trip!
And remind him, that staying CL helps on the food costs, esp for breakfasts!
And another thing I will add....yes, remember you are blessed to be able to do this!
I remind myself that often, and never forget where I came from.
I remember when DS was a little baby( and I was a single parent)
and I was visiting my cousin who worked for a
travel agency.
I was holding him and looking at the WDTC brochures....
she came up and told me...
"Tamby, you'll NEVER be able to go there! It's too expensive and you'll NEVER have the money to afford it!"
I just whispered to my little sweet baby boy,
"Don't worry, sweetie, mommy will take you there!"
Well, what can I say?
Things change and I've never rubbed it in her face, but she knows through the family grapevine about us going to WDW and other fabulous places as well as me owning my own successful business.
(which I thank my Lord everyday for these blessings!)
Ya'll have a wonderful DISney day!
