It was supposed to be a sisters half marathon celebration with my daughter going along for her first WDW visit. Then my husband said he'd take R&R from Iraq so he could go too. That didn't sit well with my sister but she agreed.

Then after I booked our two reservations and paid both $200 deposits we had 3 months to pay in full. We got ours paid in plenty of time and when I checked on the final payment due date, my sister had not paid anything towards her reservation. I should have known. She got a new boyfriend ("he's the one" ... another one!) and went to NY for vacation and I knew she probably wouldn't have enough vacation time to go on our trip that we've been talking about for over 18 months!

So, now I've lost $100 of my deposit because she canceled too late! My family wanted to stay at POP but my sister wanted Riverside so since she's a crybaby, we went with her choice. Now since she's not going we're not staying at our preferred resort, I lost $100, and I'm hurt. She knew a long time ago she wasn't going to go. Why didn't she just tell me? Why didn't she cancel her reservation before the 45 day period? Now I have to run the half marathon by myself. ...

... Now, that I've got that out of my system ... My husband and daughter's first WDW trip. My first since 1988! I'm so excited!! And, since my sister's not going, we can do it the way we want and not have to worry about her whining and crying!! I'm so excited!! I want to sit down and plan out every single detail (including the detail of letting things happen when they happen and having some time for whatever) but my second to last semester of nursing school is winding down so I probably should focus on all the papers and final exams coming up, huh? But, that's okay. Come Dec 12, all I'll have to do is concentrate on our WDW trip!!!!
