How many lights on a campsite are too many?

My awning is 18 feet, so I use 2 - 10 foot strings & run the balance up the sides. I'm really techno-minded in my hanging method. I use wooden spring-type clothes pins!! I know there are doo-dad's out there specifically for hanging strings of lights from your awnings, but I always carry clothes pins. They're there, so that's what I use!!:thumbsup2

I bought these little plastic hook doo-dads specifically for hanging my icicle lights on my awning-----They DIDN'T work!!!!!! I used wooden clothes pins and they worked like a champ~even in the wind!

If you plug them in and all the lights in your loop don't dim, you don't have too many lights up!:rotfl2:

On the other hand, if your site looks like any of these:

you might have too many lights!:scared1:

I camped across from that guy 2 years ago and he sure was a nice man..he and his wife also brought down a truck just to carry all the decorations. I've been buying a few things to add to my collection each chance I get after going to the Fort and seeing so much...this next Christmas I'll be going right before Christmas and hopefully I'll have a fun but tasteful collection to share with those who enjoy them!
