All this "spirited" discussion about FP+ has me interested. How many legacy FP did you use in a typical day?

If I am completely honest, I cannot think of a single day where I used more than 3 legacy FastPasses. Even during my trips at higher crowd seasons I used 1 or 2 per day and at MAX that number stretched to 3.

How about you?

It shows that 100% of the people used 5 legacy fastpasses! Oh,, wait… that's me, and I was the first one to vote. Oh well.. it kinda caught me by surprise when I first saw the poll results!

I voted five, because it was usually either 4, 5, or 6, depending on the park, so I picked the middle value.

This might have been a bit more effective if their had been ranges provided, like 4-6 and 7+. I am purely guessing, but I chose 5 because like the PP, I have to figure on an average and the numbers were never static.

We are AP holders and usually at the most 2 or 3. DW loved the FP+ for shows, it's her thing. The interesting part is wondering what the true average is, I bet is is close to 3.

That is why I asked "on average" so you can use an estimated figure  Not exactly a scientific poll - just my curiosity.

Across all four parks, I typically used anywhere from two to four, so I voted three. Of course, I also go towards the end of October when crowds aren't as dense, so most of the time a FastPass wasn't necessary. My usage probably would have been closer to six if I traveled during busier seasons.

We usually go in Oct when it isn't super busy, but we never used more than 2 or 3 per day either.

Like the PP, I voted 5 because it would usually be somewhere between 4 and 6. We'd almost always have at least one FP "in queue". In other words, always an active FP for something. Sometimes a couple, if one was really late and the waiting time for the next had opened up. Basically, even if there weren't huge lines, we get a FP, ride stand-by, then come out and ride again FP. I'm thinking of rides like Spalsh, BTMRR, Kali, ToT, Toy Story, Test Track, etc. Some of these rides, my kids would go on over and over, so we'd pull FP, ride stand by, ride FP, pull FP, ride FP, etc., etc. So we would easily use 5 or 6 in the course of a day.

I would say that we averaged 5-8 depending on the park. We always started out the day with a FP and then picked up another FP as soon as we could.

I assume you are trying to gauge if people used more Legacy FP than the current 3 FP+ option?

If this is the case I would agree that the Legacy FP system allowed me personally to utilize more FP attractions. Having said that, I must say I somewhat attacked FP from the perspective of plan it out and do as much as possible.

It would depend on several factors, including the park, the park hours, the crowd level, how much time we'd spend in the parks that day and whether they were enforcing the window. On a MK day during a busy time with long park hours and no window enforcement, we'd easily use 8-10. On an AK day (which is usually a half-day park for us) during a slow time, we might use 1-2.

We normally use 6 to 8.

When I go solo, it was 8.

When I'm with the family it was 6 because it would take longer to get the troops moving through the parks.

We're pass holders, and definitely used 4-6 per day since enforcement of the return window, and 5-7 per day before enforcement, for us the enforcement of the times didn't SIGNIFICANTLY impact us, but the 3 per day does, and the tiering of rides REALLY does. Generally our schedule looked like:
EPCOT-arrive within 1 hr of RD, fp Soarin, ride Soarin, Living with the Land and Nemo Standby. If possible ride FP for Soarin. Then FP TT, ride Mission Space. Ride SSE, play in the lab. try drinks in Club Cool, then go ride FP TT. Usually FP TT again as DD15 LOVES TT. Head into World Showcase, spend a couple hours doing that, return to TT area, FP Mission Space, ride TT, go to Innoventions, go back to ride MS. OR DHS, rd, FP TSMM, ride TSMM SB, ride ST, do Muppets, ride TSMM FP, FP RnR, ride ToT standby, shop, watch B&B, get FP ToT. Ride FP RnR. Park HOP to AK, FP Everest, ride safari, ride Kali, ride Everest FP, ride PW, ride Dinosaur. Hop back to HS, ride ToT FP, go to Fantasmic.

We may use 2-3 FP for the same ride in a day such BTMRR or ToT

Guess those days are gone.

On an average day if I spent the whole day in one park, I would probably use:

7 at Magic Kingdom
4 at Epcot
4 at Hollywood Studios
4 at Animal Kingdom

The most I ever used was probably around 12 at Magic Kingdom.

Totally depends on the park.

In MK, we usually used 5 or 6. When DD was little, we would FP Peter Pan anywhere from 3 to 5 times a day because it was her favorite. We would FP Pooh when one of the Peter Pan times expired if the line was long, but if the line was short for Pooh, then we would just ride it and stick with FP Peter Pan. At some point in the day DH and I would usually FP Space Mountain and switch off. Now, as DD is a little older we might throw a Splash in there-which would probably take the place of one of the Peter Pans- but we would still FP Peter Pan more than once in a day if we could. (Also, she likes SM- so we would add her to that one). So FP+ messes with our usual MK plan as we can only FP Peter Pan once- and the lines are usually too long the whole day for us to get in and ride it again.

In EPCOT, we usually used 2 or 3. We would FP Soarin and Test Track. Sometimes, depending on our schedule and the available FP times, we would FP Soarin again. Although if we FP Soarin twice it usually meant that we didn't FP Test Track because the line was short enough that we just went through- as usually we head over to WS mid-day and rarely cross back over unless it is use a Soarin FP. So FP+ messes us up at EPCOT because we can't FP Soarin twice and we can't FP Soarin and Test track.

At DHS- we usually use anywhere from 1 to 5. 1 for TSM and 1 for DH and I to switch off at RNRR- although sometimes we just use the single rider line instead of getting FP. Now, DD(7) is close to being brave enough to want to try it which creates a problem with tiers. We only do 1 DHS day- and single rider doesn't work for her because she will need one of us next to her with her jitters. (We would have done 2 FP at TSM if we could have, but by the time the 1st one of the day lets us get another one, usually the only ones left are late at night. I don't ever recall getting 2 FP in a day for that ride). Other than that, if there is a line for Star Tours, we probably FP it at least once and maybe two or three times as the FP usually kick in within 30 minutes on that one. If there is not a line, we just ride it about 3 times in a row - then cut DD off, and maybe we come back later and do it again. So really the only way we use more than 2 at DHS is if Star Tours has a line- if it does we will get 1 for that and if that FP kick in pretty quick then we would go through anywhere from 1 to 3 FP on that ride. So FP+ messes us up at DHS because we can't FP both TSM and RNRR- which means DD will probably never ride RNRR unless we happen to hit a low line someday. We most likely won't wait over 30 minutes for it- and we won't give up the TSM FP

At AK, usually it is 1 to 3. We usually FP Safari once and we might FP it twice in a day- depending on the line etc. We usually ride it twice in a day- but often we don't need FP to do that. I'd say usually unless the lines build up fast- we ride it 2 or maybe even 3 times- but only use FP for that once, if at all. DH and I will either grab FP for EE and switch off or just single rider it. (Our last trip we did FP+ for EE and DD was brave enough to get on it-- I don't think she will ever get on it again though! ;) Let's just say she wan't a big fan!). So FP+ somewhat messes up our day at AK, because we can't FP Safari twice- although it isn't a given that we would have done that anyway.

So, I think the biggest problem for us with FP+ is that we can't FP the same ride more than once and with tiers we can't hit all the rides we like to FP. (and the running back and forth across the park it made is do which we hated). I definitely wouldn't call us super users of FP-, but we still don't like FP+.

I voted 4 but it really depends on the park-

Epcot- 3 a day (Soarin' TT & Malestrom)- sometimes living with the land- but that was pretty rare

DHS- 2 a day (TSMM, ToT)- if it was busy we'd get 3 with Star Tours

AK- 1 a day (safari)

MK- this one is tough because it really would depend on the day but usually around 7- (some combo of Dumbo, Mickey, Barnstormer, SM, Buzz, JC, Ariel, PP, BTMRR). Since you could hold dumbo, barnstormer and mickey detached from the system, it was really easy to rack up the FP.

As this kids get older this will change when they get taller and braver.

Honestly, I wouldn't be so POed over this FP+ nonsense if they just let me have 4 a day at Epcot, DHS, and AK, and 5 at MK. That would be an acceptable compromise to me.
