I usually do the 7:30 - 5:30 routine with a one hour lunch. So put me down for 45 per week.

So far I'm working 20+ hours at Disney (yep, I said Disney :)) and then 6-12 hrs at my other job, Hallmark. I get to see great people everyday at either job! :)

BTW: This is my 800th post! :)

I work 10-12 a week, plus attend graduate school FT. DH works 40-50 a week

i definitely work more than 50 hours/week during the summer. when i'm in school too, it's probably close to 45-50.

Tutoring 8 to 10 a week and I probably spend at least 2 hours preparing. I'm done with that for a couple of months now. Except for maybe one kid, I'm waiting to hear if he passed his Math final. My systems work is incredibly spotty right now, I really don't want to do it at all anymore so I'll say 0.

DH on the other hand, I don't think I can count. He's been gone since about 5am this morning, it is now 5pm and I don't expect him home for another couple of hours. Next week is a travel week and he'll be putting in 18 hour days there.

The Mom/Laundress/Pool Girl work is neverending. :earsgirl:

I work 17-20 hours a week outside the home so I can be home with youngest DS most of the time. Around the house I probably work more hours, especially doing the laundry which reproduces each night while we sleep!

I am the projectionist and assistant manager at the local movie theatre and I work a minimum of 55 hours a week during the summer (recently its been more like 65-70 hrs) and 40-45 hours a week during when schools are in session. It drives me crazy sometimes, but when I'm not here, I get bored easily!

I need a nap....and moreso, a Disney vacation...(come on July 12th, can't you get here faster??? :teeth: )

It depends on how much there is to be done and if we are on deadline for anything. I would say I average at least 45 hours per week.

Um, yeah, 80, that's right, never an hour over.

Not counting educational 'opportuntities', oh, and sign out, and home call, and follow-up clinic, and research, and, um, external moonlighting. And um, when I trained fellows worked q2, with no residents, and we stayed post call darnit, and on our off days we researched prostoglandin effects in fetal sheep.

(Ok, if I'm this punchy perhaps I need more sleep)

Just looked at your profile, btw, looks like we're not only neighbors, we're colleagues.

LOL! DW has a resident in training right now (2nd year I think) that is so anal about the 80 hour rule that she's left the OR in the middle of surgery when her time was up. Needless to say, and for many other reasons as well, that resident is likely to soon lose her spot.

BTW, I answered over 50. DW has been practicing for many years and still works well over 80 hours a week.
