I have read on this site, and others, that people have made PS using Dining Plan @ MGM, w/o Fantasmic package added, but have still gotton reserved seating passes from server. If this is you, please tell me how you asked the server for this? And, Which rest. was it that you did this at? I am making PS for Mama Melrose on Sat 09/10, and would like to get Fantasmic reserved seating pass AND use my dining plan TS credit. Please advise.

We did this in 2003 when we were on the gold plan. It's no big deal. You make the adr by requesting the FDP. The price is the same either way.

I was told by CRO that one could not make ADR as FDP, if one was using Dining Plan TS credits.

We used our dining plan in April, for the fantasmic package at Mama Melrose. We did make PS for the dining package though. We were told by disney dining that we could not, but I tried anyway.

I just asked the server "can we use our dining plan for this, or is that not allowed w/ the package" No problem was her response. When we paid, she brought our preferred seating card, w/ our check.

I did go prepared to pay out of pocket if neccessary though, and I'd prob. go ahead and book the package, if you def. want preferred seating.
