I just picked up on something that I hadn't realized before and I believe is a change to the way it used to work. Is it true you can actually have two Fastpasses at a time? Didn't it used to be that you not take a second Fastpas until the firt one was used?

You can get a 2nd one if 2 hours have passed since you got the first one or if you've already entered the time frame to use the first one.

In June the FP's said right on them, what time you could get a 2nd one, which made it very nice and one less thing to remember!

I have one we didn't use last week. It was issued at 4:20 pm for 8:10 to 9:10. It says another fastpass will be available after 6:25 p.m.
So it seems that you can get another 2 hours after the first one is issued.

Actually, there is a way to hold two FPs at once. You can get a new FP 2 hours after you got the first ticket, OR after the window to go on the attraction opens up. Your ticket actually says when you can get another one. If your time to go on the attraction is 10:35-11:35 then you can get a second FP at 10:40. You do not actually have to have used the FP by 10:40 (unlike Universal).

You may now get a fastpass, if they are available every 45 minutes.. so it depends on how fast you use them after the times become available. I believe we have held at least 4 at one time!

Quote from Unofficial Guide 2003:

Like us, Nancy...enjoys testing the FASTPASS system. With little effort, she managed to hold three FASTPASSes simultaneously. Here's what she did:

10:00 get FP for Thunder Mountain: return time 10:50-11:50

10:50 get FP for Jungle Cruise: return time 11:35 - 12:35

11:35 get FP for HM: return time 12:40-1:40
At this point I'm holding three FPs.

11:40 ride TM

12:00 ride JC

12:40 ride HM

In the meantime (between 10:00 and 11:40), we boarded Pirates..., visited Tiki Room, and explored TSI. We really did not nee dthe 3 FPs at one time, as we never had to wait in excess of 10 minutes for a ride, but I wanted to know if it could be done!

OK check it out...this is what u gotta do...get a fast pass for ur first ride...as soon a sthe first time on ur fastpass has gone by u can get another one...SO GO AHEAD AN GET ANOTHER ONE lolol!!!!! ur first fastpass won't expire for an hour!! Heres a tip...say u've got 2 adults an 2 kids....in my fam by the afternoon my parents are tired they go chill on Main Street Walk through the shops an stuff while me an my bro take all 4 passes an now we've got 4 fastpasses @ once...(this is great for teenagers) otherwise ur stuck runnin all over the park...but always do it if u get the chance it's definetly worth it...I've walked by the same people in the line @ Space Mountian 3 times in about 12 minute!!!:earsgirl:

Yes, you can have 2 at once, and even more, depending on how often you can get the Fastpasses and when your return times are scheduled. When we were there in October, you could get a new fastpass every 45 minutes, and usually the time for using one was 10-20 minutes after you picked it up. You could also get a FP 5 minutes after the start of the time of the previous one. So, say you have your 1st FP, and the start time is 9:30 am... you can get another one at 9:35 am, then that start time is at 9:55am, so at 10 am you could get another... see where I am going with this?... and you wouldn't have to have used the 1st one until 10:30 am! We did it.... it was GREAT! We just kept going back and forth between ToT and RnR!

I never knew you could have more than one FP at a time. I'm so bummed:mad: . We've always waited to get another FP after we used the one we had.

We just got back yesterday and I had three at one time last week on an early entry day at MGM.
