How Many DVC Points Do You Own?

We just bought in at 50 points for cash but already looking to add on with in the next couple of months and hope to get up to 200 points within the next couple of years. I just depends on how life treats us. Right now things are going well and we were comfortable enough to make the jump after dreaming about DVC for over 10 years.

180 @ SSR! I love the flexibility with DVC! You can really stretch those points if you want.
We bought in March 2007, stayed 6 night in a 2 bedroom at SSR in April 2007, staying 5 night in a 1 bedroom at BWV in Feb 2008, and another 2 nights @ SSR for 11 of us after our Disney cruise!

DVC can be so addictive. It feels like gambeling...everytime a new place pops up you want to buy there also

I totally understand! I bought AKV in May and then added points on in July. By the way, based on your ticker, you will be home before me. I won't be at AKV until May.

DH and I currently own 290 points, 185 at SSR and 105 at AKV. It's the perfect amount for a 1 BDR every other year in a Savannah View at AKV, and a 2 BDR and a studio at SSR on the opposite years. While I know it's the perfect amount I still want 10 more points at AKV, because a round perfect 300 sounds just right.

I wonder, for the folks that own 1000 or more, if their first purchase was a rather large number of points at OKW...?

I own 522 and am waitlisted for another 30.

Our first purchase was 2 OKW contracts, 1 for 230 points the other for 200 points. That was quickly followed by 270 BWV points which were quickly followed by 300 BCV points... Timeframe maybe 6 months, or a tich longer
