How Many DVC Points Do You Own?

Currently, we own 450 points. 300 SSR, 150 AKV. We just added on last week and I have no idea what has gotten into us because we swore we'd never do it! We have a serious case of Add-on-itis and as soon as the money comes available we will do a futher add on at AKV, possibly even CRV if it becomes a reality.

Will add on at CRV(200pts) and that will probably be it for our DVC point buying. Looking to buy a Marriott HHI week, just like CarolA we want to be on the beach not a shuttle ride away.

We own 290 at BCV. We bought 190 initially and just added on 100.

I'm curious, what do you mean by "should have split it into 2"? I've never heard of that. How does it help?

We are sitting at 1100. The math says we can unload 100 at VB, but my wife won't let me.
We just sold 450 at VWL, in order to purchase 450 at AKV. We wanted a chunk at AKV to have the 11 month window at a resort that has GVs.

I did the same poll about 6 months ago. What I found interesting is that not really many people have over 800 points and most had between 200-400 so I did not feel the need to do a great add on. We have 240 now.

I wonder, for the folks that own 1000 or more, if their first purchase was a rather large number of points at OKW...?

I own 522 and am waitlisted for another 30.

We bought 2000 all at once in 92. We are glad we did it in one contract, would not do it any other way!

Happy to say it was my brother who came down with addonitis and we now have 460 points at SSR. I told him the only cure that I had heard of on The DIS was to buy more points.
