How many DVC members are from the western half of the U.S.?

I live in Sacramento and we like it. We don't go every year and I know many say it isn't worth it if you don't go every year. But we go every other year and we like having a kitchen. Plus, we go for longer periods of time like 10 days. It is working for us. I doubt we'll ever use it for trade. We own other timeshares for that. But it is important for us to stay onsite. But buying is just prepaying for your vacation. I doubt we saved much by buying.

Yes, we're planning every other year for longer stays. It costs a lot for us all to fly out. Every other year for a long time is good for us. We're N. CA.

We live in Ken Caryl Ranch (southwest Denver suburbs) and have never regretted our purchase in DVC! We've been able to get some awesome airfares (less than $175 with one stop and less than $250 nonstop) and that really helps! Of course, if we lived within driving distance we would have purchased more pts and we would go more often! For us, owning at BCV has been a great financial decision.

Hi neighbor! It is nice to see you posting. I hope your family is doing well, I have been thinking about you guys. Are you still planning to take the family to WDW this summer? :grouphug:

Hi Roxanne,

Debbie and I will be going to BWV in mid-February with my brother and sister-in-law. We feel that it might be best to go without the kids on our first trip back since Greg's death.

We are also going in August with the girls, and also Amanda (Greg's fiance). She was scheduled to go with us last summer... and it would have been her first visit to WDW. We want to keep her as part of our family. It is going to be hard going without Greg... but then our lives have changed a lot, and we are learning to move forward.

Thank you for asking :)

/Jim

Hi Jim,
I have been wondering how your family has been getting along as well. I know returning to WDW will be difficult under the circumstances...but I hope it aids in the healing process. Just remember there are many people that keep you in their thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

Take care,
Lisa

Roxann -- Sent you a PM. ;) Did it last night and hit the "submit" button just as the boards went down for maintenance...hope you received it.

I received it and sent a reply back. I will try to call you later and find out what you want to do. You can PM me back if you know before I get a chance to call you.

A big "howdy" to all my west coast neighbors!!! We are from lower Vancouver...that would be WA -- not BC. :)

I guess that makes me a DVC member from "upper Vancouver". Glad to see other west coasters represented here. I don't think I've seen any other west coast Canadian DVC'ers around though. Am I the only one on the boards?

I guess I could start a new thread but I'm just too lazy at this time of night.

Hi Darren -- I know there are other DVC members in Vancouver, BC because I've noticed their posts before. I'll have to see if I can remember some of the user names. Wouldn't want you to feel alone, now would we? :earboy2:

Vegas in the house!!!
