Here a pill, there a pill, every day a pill. For years I was on next to no medication. Now as I'm entering my "Golden" years  it seems to be all I do.

Currently I'm on 6 different prescriptions a day and then there's some other stuff I HAVE to take that's non-prescrition. So who else takes a lot of presciption medication on a daily basis. I'm sure it's not just me.

Daily? How does she keep track of them?

she has them divided up for each day... she had surgery for Cron's Disease back in October and is slowing getting off the meds from trying to regulate that. Dr. just took her off 16 on Monday

I was first one to vote over ten,I'm a diabetic so I take a bunch of meds.::yes:: :wave2:

Luckily, I don't have to take anything. When my husband is healthy he takes 20 pills a day. That is 6 scrips.

Zero...mostly. I do have a pill for IBS that I take whenever I think I'm going to have an attack. If that feeling occurs daily, I take the pill daily, but my stomach has been very good recently.

One for blood pressure and then my thyroid medication that I have been taking for the past 8 years. During the past 9 months I have been on 4 different dosages of Levothroxine since my TSH levels are out of whack again. Go back next month to see where I'm at now. Must be Stress Related.

I take 1 for HBP. (result of my pregnancy)

Dh takes 3-4 for his Congestive Heart Failure (at 39).

None for me. One for my DD and one for the cat. The cat is on tenormin. His cardiologist put him on it.

None. I'd kill for a Zyrtec (allergy med) right now, but I can't take it. :(

I voted 5, but I'm hoping to get off ALL OF THEM in a few more months!! :teeth:

Right NOW I take hydrochlorothyazide for my blood pressure, tricor for my high cholesterol, glucophage for my diabetes, synthroid for my thyroid and coumadin because I had blood clots in my lungs back in September.

I've lost almost 40 pounds since then, though, and eating a MUCH healthier diet, AND exercising quite regularly so things are getting better. I'm planning on losing at LEAST 20 more pounds, maybe 30, hopefully by fall and then try to get off the medications and see how I do without them.

Oh, I also take a 500mg vitamin C daily. I used to take a multi-vitamin but because of the coumadin I can't anymore.

I take one a day. Tenormin for blood pressure, just like Mimi's cat. Plus a couple of vitamins.

I don't take any at all. However, DS8 takes 8+ because of his kidney transplant. It's hard to keep up with all of them sometimes!!!!
