How many days?

Coming to a conference in April. We plan on staying a week in California. How many days do we need for the two parks? We go to Disney world all the time.

Three minimum, but you still may not be able to do everything depending on your pace.

Four days minimum to have a solid visit and five days is better.

I agree with everyone else. Three is the bare minimum, I would do four or five if you can. I did four days last year, and still missed a few things (though I did go on my favorites multiple times) so we are doing five this year.

To put it in perspective, we normally stay at least a week at WDW...

If you have the time, do 5 days that's the max. you can do without buying an AP or extra tickets at full price. Doesn't cost that much more to add a day from a 4 day ticket.

It really does depend on your party, pace and budget. I've spent as little as two days at DL and 4.5 days at wdw and left both wanting more.

Max you can buy right now is a 5 day park hopper so I would go with that.
