How many days would YOU do in each park

We don't care for DHS normally so with construction going, if you have to touch that park I would say 1/2 day there. 1 day AK, 2.5 MK and 2.5 Epcot. Leaving 2-3 resort/relax days.
If you're doing PH and are on-site you may want to switch it up. Do a park in the morning, take a break, then do Epcot at night. We love Epcot at night! So we plan on doing Magic Kingdom mornings with Epcot night and then reversing that.
On our last trip which was 8nights we definitely saw that we needed rest days.

We would start and finish in MK and have one more day in between. We would do 2 days at AK...we'd split one day between Epcot and DHS and spend two days in DHS

Thanks for the responses. I didn't mention that we do have a resort day planned on day 4 (we're actually there for 9 days). We also do have two dinners planned at newer places at DS that we want to try, and we have a BBB reservation there during lunchtime one day as well. We do have park hopper as well. I'll probably just end up splitting most of the days because that allows us to go back and swim, etc. anyway. I REALLY love Epcot at night. We are adding in one night at AK this time to see Rivers of Light and one night at HS for Fantasmic (which, weirdly, despite going every year, we have never seen--we always change plans last minute). Typically, we don't spend a ton of time at AK because we have a wonderful zoo (St. Louis) 10 minutes from our house that we visit all the time...so while the animal exhibits are beautiful, they aren't really our priority on vacation. Ughhh. It's so hard! :)

Mk - 3
Epcot - 2
AK - 2
HS - 1

And depending on how it goes I would change one AK for more Epcot. That's just me.
Have a great trip!!

I would do 3 MK days for sure.
Then maybe 2 Epcot, 1 HS, 1 AK and 1 waterpark?

Since you have hoppers I would do date night evenings and leave your daughter with your mom or in kids club :)
I'm traveling alone with my son and am planning to leave him at Lilo's Playhouse and go solo to Flower and Garden and MK.
Then after Pandora is open I'll do the same for AK since DS won't be 44" anytime soon..

4 MK
2 HS
2 AK
1 EP

Remove a day from HS/AK to add to EP if you end up liking it more, which most people do. Personally my family doesn't so it would look like this.

1 1/2 to 2 days each at MK and EP and 1 at AK and HS. We do hoppers with water parks and more and add a half day at each water park and a trip to Disney Springs. We break our park days into halves and do a afternoon break, usually visiting 2 parks in a day.

Our last trip we had 5 day tickets and did 3 MK, 1 Epcot and 1 AK. Next trip we're doing 7 day tickets and will do 3 MK, 2 Epcot, 1 HS, 1 AK

3 days MK, 3 days Epcot, 1 day DHS, 1 day AK

MK 2-3 (first and last park days, plus one somewhere in the middle if 3)
EP 2
HS 1.5-2 (normally i would just say 1, but between fantasmic and Star Wars fireworks show, i'd want two evenings in the park for sure)
AK 1

9 night/8 days in late April/Early May. What is your perfect amt of time in each park. I am really excited about the Flower and Garden show at Epcot so want plenty of time there. It will be my husband and I, our 4yo daughter and my mother. I keep going back and forth on our plans even though we've been tons of times. With the renovations going on at HS, how long do you think we need there?

I'm doing 9 nights/8 days at the end of August. My line-up is...

Epcot
DAK
MK
Disney Springs
Epcot
MK
DAK
Epcot
final day 'Ohana breakfast and probably Disney Springs wandering before the Tragical Express.

Even when the construction is finished, Studios is dead to me. Two rides I'd do and one nighttime show are NOT worth my wasting a ticket.

I hate being tied down to one park a day, so we 'always' get park hoppers (or this year
AP's) Totally worth it to us as we can relax and go wherever we want.

I actually just added 3 nights so now we're doing 8 park days and 1 rest day so I can tell you what I'm doing.

Arrival day - a few hours in MK

Day 2 - Epcot

Day 3 - MK

Day 4 - HS

Day 5 - AK

Day 6 - MK

Day 7 - pool day, switch resorts

Day 8 - waterpark then HS for F!

Day 9 - pool in AM, Epcot in afternoon and finish at MK

This is how long we typically vacation and I have two young children around the same age as you. We like to mix it up and usually buy more park day tickets than we probably need but that allows us to not have to cram everything in at one park on one day. Once you get up to a certain number of days adding additional park days/tickets is far less costly and to us is a no-brainer.

So I would do this:

Magic Kingdom-2 days (one early day with leaving after the 3 pm parade, one later start with staying until Wishes- splitting the park into 2)
Epcot- 2 days - one full day + a late start day with dinner afternoon/evening with illuminations - this will also allow you 2 chances at fast passing two tier-1 rides
Animal Kingdom- 1 day
Hollywood Studios-1 day
Rest day at resort with possibly Disney Springs- 1 day
Water park day- 1 day

So this would total 6 day park pass + a one day waterpark (so 7)

I would probably add the hoppers just in case we were feeling spur of the moment and wanted to have the option. But that's just our style too. I like having the option.
