Not sure how to word this as I don't want a 100 configurations of possible answers in my poll. So, I will simply ask how many working computers you have set up in your home.

Just curious as to your ratio of computers to number of people in your household.

For the purpose of this poll, I will keep it to schoolage children and above.

The poll only asks how many working computers you have in your home, but please fill us in as to how many people you have.

oops, I guess I should have had a "none" category. I just assumed everyone here had at least one computer.

I just have my desktop (which only I use...DH doesn't do computers) and a netbook which I only use for travelling, but it works so I counted that.

Technically one laptop. We also have an iPad, very old iMac that's not even set up anymore, and a device that connects to a computer at work but is not a computer itself (and belongs to work).

There are 4 of us, two young school age kids.

4 computers for 5 people. 1 is a mini that no one likes, a imac for school work, a macbook for adult school work, and an ipad for fun:)

We have 6 for 2 people, we are both in IT and each one serves a different purpose...we do a lot of working from home so some are business purpose and some are for iTunes and gaming.

We have 7 people and 3 computers, but we're shopping for a new laptop for DH so that will be 4.

Three people (one is a schoolage child), four working computers. Two desktop, two laptop. And one in a closet that I'm sure would work if we plugged it in.

There are 4 of us and we have a desktop, a laptop, a netbook, and dh has a work provided laptop.

Two that are hooked up for our family of 5, one of whom is too young to count. Two more older systems that are in working order and could be hooked up for basic internet/Office applications should we ever need it, but so far there's not enough competition for the two that are in use to warrant finding room to set up the others.

I voted 3 :

Desktop
Laptop
Netbook

The desktop is the family computer. The laptop is DS's computer. The netbook is the vacation and "someone is on the desktop" computer.

We are a familly of 3, so we can all be online at the same time if necessary.

Three people (DD16, me, DH) and three working laptops. We also have one non-working desktop that DH keeps talking about replacing but never does.

We are an internet-heavy family and I cannot imagine sharing a computer.

I didn't even include my ipad.

We have two PCs, both older but limping along.

One Mac laptop

One ipad

My husband has a work computer (laptop) that he sometimes brings home. He is on the computer so much at work that he hates being on one at home.

There are 5 of us.
