How many children did your Mom have?

My adopted mom only had me.
Her mom had 10. The oldest died in Europe as a toddler from one of the many diseases that they had there, then the other died as a baby. 8 went on to live very long lives.

My birth mom had 3... 2 girls and a boy.

I'm the oldest.

3 that made it. Two died thanks to my father (he use to beat her when she was pregnant. He stayed sobered long enough to wear his police uniform and work.

One of them was a nine month old boy.

My mom had 4 - 2 boys and 2 girls - I am kid #2 and oldest daughter.

I also had 4 children within 5 years - 3 girls and 1 boy. When I remarried 6 years ago, my DH had 6 kids - 5 boys and 1 girl. People actually asked us if we planned on having any more kids.

My mom had 2, my brother, who is 7 years older than me, and myself.

Her mother had 6 of which my mom was the youngest. Story goes that the doctor threw up his hands in frustration when her mother was pregnant. I guess she was told it could be really dangerous (like they had much of a choice in those days ). When she went into labor, the doctor was called but it was too late. My mother's mom delivered my mother all by herself!

I have two, a son and daughter that are one year 362 days apart in age.

My mother whom I lost 14 yrs ago to cancer, had five of us I have two sisters, and two brothers. She also along with my dad adopted her younger brother when she lost her parents when he was only 4. So I guess that brings us up to 6 kids. It was her birthday this month, and still remember her as if it was yesterday.

Mom I luv and miss you. But I know you are looking out for us.

Dad had my brother and oldest sister - then his wife died of polio
Mom had two girls and was carrying a third when her husband was killed in a car wreck. After they were married, they had my sister Patty and then me. I am the youngest at 44, Dave is the oldest at 60, my two oldest sisters, Laurie and Betty, are the same age - born 9 days apart.

As my mom likes to say, "his kids and my kids were fighting with our kids." She is also very proud to say that she "raised seven law-abiding, home-owning, taxpayers."
