My DDs have decided to make and decorate their own autograph books. I have seen a few nice spiral bound books in the scrapbook dept. but I'm not sure how many pages they need. Ideally I would like to have one page for the signature and one page for the picture with the character. We will be going to the parks either 5 or 6 days and my DDs are very interested in meeting as many characters as possible, but they are not going to be obsessive about it. So, how many characters signed your autograph books? TIA!

My Dear Daughter has over 65 autographs....

Her first trip, she obtained about 40 or so...

We used the same autograph book for two of our trips. One when DD was 3 and when she was 7. It's cute to have the pictures in one book to see how she has changed. I would say there are probably 100 pages in it and it's 5 pages short of being full after 2 trips.

On my 1st serious autographing trip (back in 2003) we got 83 new unique character signatures. :) :) But everytime we saw a character, we met them! My nephew was not into rides at that time, so it was fine by me! :teeth:

Are they all different ones or did Mickey sign more than once?

My autograph book, been using it since 2002 has 59 different ones.

The first time we took DD we filled her book completely with signatures. I can't find the book right now but I think there was one character that did sign twice.

On our last trip she got...let me count :cool1: ... she got 56 :teeth:

We don't stop at every character, I'd say we stop at 90% of the characters we see.

We got 41 on our last trip, but some characters will share a page - ie Chip and Dale, Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee...DisBook

Down on the right hand side are pics of DD's last album - If you want to see it all click"See All Pictures". :teeth: (DD "signed" some of the pages too)

When we made DD's book last year, we designated a page for each character and put a clip art of the character on that page. The characters seemed to enjoy that.

(Thank you HugsForEeyore! :flower: Your site was a great help in knowing what characters to include, and where to find them)

We didn't get duplicate autographs, but did get some duplicate photos of some characters.

Since we had separate pages for Chip & Dale, they did sign on their own page (you just need to be prepared and have the page ready so you don't take up too much time).

We got 50 characters last time, without much effort.

We chose to go back for MNSSHP mainly to get the "rarer" characters. :maleficen And we plan to spend more regular park time searching for the characters we still need.

The new princess Autographs books have both and sign in side plus a picture side.

Thanks for everyones input! :) I saw some scrapbooks today but they only had 35 pages and I figured that probably would not be enough. We only had 20 in our autograph book from our last trip 3 yrs. ago, but that was because we didn't buy an autograph book until halfway through our visit for my DD since she was only 3 at the time. We thought she wouldn't really be interested-boy were we wrong! Meeting the characters and having an autograph book turned out to be the highlight of the trip for her.

I just asked my daughter (she was 10 when we went in April) & she said she got 47 autographs this time & last year she got 45. Hope that helps you.

LOTS! But some of them were signed 4-5X by the same character! Some characters I don't know...and don't particularly care if I get their signature or not.
