How many autograph books?

We are going to Wdw next Yr (last visit was 11 years ago) and I have made autograph books for my boys. Each has 30 pages. We will be spending two days in each of the Disney parks. Is one book each likely to be enough? I have no idea how many characters are about, and whilst we probably won't be lining up for Princesses or fairies they are likely to want to get the characters that are found around each park

Yes, I would think so. Characters don't just wander anymore, they have set hours and locations, and there are some that don't sign (off the top of my head, Mike and Sully and the Star Wars characters don't sign I know from our trip last week). Are you doing any character meals? That is a great way to get pictures and autographs without standing in long lines. If you eliminate princesses and those that don't sign, I think that 30 pages will be plenty. We probably got about 15 signatures last week on our 8 day trip, and some of those are duplicates (Mickey Mouse is on there more than once) because we met the same characters at a couple of different meals...

You can download the My Disney Experience app and look at which characters are generally at which park. You’ll be able to get an idea of who your kids will want to meet, and also how much time you’ll want to dedicate to meeting characters. If you’re doing a character meal, it’s usually 5 characters that come around.

Can you add pages to the books you made? There are a lot of characters that to meet. Each park has a different outfit Mickey. The MDE will show the characters and where they are. A lot are inside meet n greet like Anna & Elsa in Norway, Princesses in Fantasyland, Olaf, BB8, Chewy in Hollywood Studios.

Then there are characters that meet for periods of time outside like Alice Snow White, Aladdin & Jasmine.

We filled up our 25 page book on the last weeklong trip for the first time—we did 3 character meals so that took a big chunk

It depends on how into characters your kids are. During our last trip, my daughter met 56 separate characters. That's right, 56. And that doesn't even count the characters she met multiple times. ("but MOM...Donald Duck is in a DIFFERENT OUTFIT!") I'm pretty sure that we waited in every character line Disney has to offer. I think it was a combination of her first trip to Disney World and being the perfect age (7) for the magic of characters. I'm really hopeful that when we go back in January we will get to ride some rides...

One book would be enough for each of my kids. They never ran out of pages and used the same book on multiple trips.

And some of the characters may not use up their whole space, so you could double up some if needed.
