We have five. One suet feeder, One squirrel proof Finch feeder (allegedly), one general feeder with a flap that will close if two much weight is put onit, and we just got one that looks like a bird house with two feeding stations filled with fruits, nuts and mealworms.

Th hummingbird feeder won't go out until July though the recent tracking report has them been spotted now north of our area.

We have robins, finches, cardinals, woodpeckers, Chickadees, BlueJays and more.

I don't have any here yet.

I need to do some research and find out what species are around here.

I ALSO want to start a feeder that has my yarn scraps from crocheting in it for them to take for nests.

We have 3 but I never fill them anymore. We have an outside cat that decided to start living here. It just seems mean to feed the birds as it gives her more hunting targets.

I need to put out the new hummingbird feeder. My mom loved hummingbirds, so when we see hummers, we think of her.

We have none but the neighbours behind us have at least 5 and I hate them. The birds eat over there and crap all over my shed, fence and sun shelter. She also puts out peanuts for the squirrels and we get all the shells on our side of the fence.

Don't say anything to them about it but boy we hate them.

Would mind the hummingbird ones. FIL has one of those and it is nice to see them there , not sure how messy there are. :rotfl:

No bird feeders in my yard. We have obnoxious aggressive squirrels and I don't want to encourage them at all.

None!!
Too many birds. They come into the yard, play in the pool and leave their droppings behind.

None anymore. I sleep during the day as I work 3rd shift and the birds are way too loud! We also have millions of squirrels here. They are mean! We used to have a hummingbird feeder but the ants it attracted were insane!

Five, and a couple of platforms for squirrels. We put out whole peanuts and the squirrels and blue jays spend all day carrying them off and burying them.

We get a wide variety of squirrels. Here are some of our favorites:

Wow! I've never seen some of those! I really like the two-tone one! Neat!:thumbsup2

I only put out a hummingbird feeder starting in April.

However I plant trees and other plants for "food". My "White Cloud" Dogwood was picked clean pretty early on this winter. The little ones hunkered down in my mums.

We would get mice and have too many birds of prey to have feeders. Plus it would drive my dogs nuts.

I have not seen 1 squirrel since moving here 4 yrs ago. We do have rabbits somewhere. I think they have made their home in my front landscaping.

You're making me want a squirrel feeder! Very cool.

We have a general feeder and a suet feeder. We have the only feeders in our neighborhood, and the birds were bankrupting us! I finally switched to hen scratch in the general feeder about two weeks ago, and after a couple days the birds stopped turning their beaks up at it. We use about 15 lbs of food a week! Wide variety of birds and a few woodpeckers. We love watching them. The doves and woodpeckers in particular are hilarious to watch because they've figured out they can use the feeder if they let their bodies hang completely underneath, so all you see is this head peeking up and over. :goodvibes

Oh gosh, I miss my Missouri Birds!! We had about 6 feeders (not including the hummingbird feeders) We had finches, hummers, woodpeckers(5 different kinds), blue jays, cardinals, indigo bunting, dark-eyed junkos, those cute little titmouse's (titmice?), and a one and only visit from a Baltimore Oriole (I'm so glad I got that shot, or my DH never would have believed me!!). The Peliated Woodpecker was really shy, I had to set up a tripod behind my curtains to get a pic of him.

Here are some of our fav pics taken from our balcony. Oh, and something fun to do is put unsalted unshelled peanuts in the suet feeders, the blue jays and wood peckers love to work them out!!

We used to have one, but after we put in a pool we found, lets say bird droppings in the water. Bird feeder is gone and so are the droppings.

Cute squirrel pics, and great bird pics!

I want to hang up feeders now.

Oh, we love watching the birds, but boy can they eat! We have two very large squirrel proof (really are) ones that we bought on the internet. We lost so much money on the so called squirrel proof ones at Lowes/Home Depot.
These were $85 ea. but we've had them for about 5 years already.

We have woodpeckers, finches, cardinals, titmouse, blue grossbeaks, sparrows, chick a dee, tree climbers (cute little bird - not sure of name) indigo buntings, brown thrashers, cedar wax wings, and several more I can't remember now. They eat two tall (20") feeders every 3-4 days - very piggy LOL.

Those finches are big piggys!! We had the same problems with squirrels, and bought some of those baffle things that didn't work. DH finally made some homemade ones from sheet metal.
