We are considering eating here in February. We would love to visit the Wilderness Lodge and it sounds like a fun place to eat. I am just concerned about the noise level. Thanks.

Extremely. It's a themed restaurant, lots of yelling back and forth between servers, banging on trays, ringing the dinner bell, making people get up and sing, stick pony races, etc.

It didnt bother us. We have eaten there 3 times now, the first two before we had our son so we were without kids. It was a fun restaurant, and it wasnt so loud we couldnt hear each other talking. The last trip we did lunch instead of dinner and that was much quieter.

it is very loud. we didn't care for it at all. \I was sooo excited to try it but it is on our never to return list..

It is VERY VERY VERY LOUD! I can almost handle the yelling but the waiters banging the tray stands on the floor puts me over the edge. We have gone back (better prepared) and requested a table in the back where it is a little quieter. Quieter being relative being as the noise level from the restaurant rivals all other sounds in the entire lobby.

You can make the ADR then do some reconnaissance when you arrive in Disney and see if you could enjoy your meal there.

It can be loud, but I have been there a few times that it's been pretty quiet. Breakfast is REALLY quiet, in my experience.

My son has Asperger's syndrome and is very sensitive to noise. It's one place that he really likes. He even participated in the stick pony race. It's a good noise, I guess.

Thanks for all the replies. I think we will give it a try. It sounds like a place my kids would love! My husband, however, may not be too happy with me if he has to sing!

I was going to say the same, it's a good noise. I really didn't notice because It was fun and everyone was having a good time..and make sure you ask for ketchup ;)

If you have to ask how loud it is.. Its too loud!

So loud at dinner that we ended up asking for boxes and took our food back to the CR and ate it on our balcony. I booked this one only because when we went in Feb it was very last minute - we hopped onto my MIL's trip for a conference and so when I called to make ADRs I had few choices and the CM said this would be great since I had a 4 year old. Well, my 4 year old daughter probably hated it most of all. Not a place for my family and so glad I didn't go there with my son who has major sensory issues (autism spectrum) it would have sent him through the roof, though I would love to see his reaction when he asked for Ketchup.

The food was excellant but my husband will never return because of the noise specially the banging of trays.

Examples of Noise Level:

1) Front Desk and Concierge work ACROSS the lobby from WCC.
2) Sometimes we had to yell to guests at the Concierge Desk.
3) They stood in front of us and could not hear us due to WCC noise.

4) Now, not always that bad.
5) But, it is NEVER a quite, romantic, leisurely dining experience.
