Yes - We went last year on the 1-3-04 Western and there were no Christmas decorations in site!

I asked this same thing several months ago because of our 1/4/05 sailing, & was told that they take them down right after New Year's & not to expect to see any C-mas decorations on our sailing. :( That's ok - it'll still be beautiful. ::yes::

I just looked at some old pictures and we cruised Jan 4 - 7, 2001 and the terminal was still decorated and also the ship had decorations up too.

We sailed Jan 6 - 9, 2000 and there were no decorations up then.

I hope there are still some when we go on our cruise on Jan 4 - 8.

We were on the 12-27-03 Eastern, the cruise before you. They took them down as we were waiting to get off the ship. Watched 2 guys destroy the gingerbread house. As I have mentioned elsewhere, it was a MESS getting off that morning. We stood in line 45 minutes before we even got off the ship, so we saw the ENTIRE gingerbread house torn down.

Sailed last January4th on the Magic and they were down already. Sailing again this January 6th and don't expect to see them then either.

we sailed January 3rd or 4th in 2002 and there were no signs of any Christmas decorations when we sailed.
