how long will we wait?

We are leaving in three weeks. Staying at the HRH. This will be Presidents week. We did not do any restaurant planning. How long will we be waiting to get into restaurants without reservations?. What places should we stay away from, counter service and sit down. If we go to restaurants where the food stinks my husband will focus on that for the entire trip.Any must dos?

Yeah- What Damo said with the most serious advice being to stay away from Mel's Diner, International Food Festival, Monster's Cafe counter services! Yuck!

We stay at the HRH and ate dinner at the on-site table restaurant, The Kitchen, for the first time last trip. We all enjoyed it. We didn't wait at all for a table, but this was in late August, not President's Week.

Our favorite meal of the last trip - and this included five days at Disney on the dining plan - was at Mythos. That is one great restaurant!

My recommendations are:

IOA - The Enchanted Oak and Thunder Falls Terrace

Studios - Louie's or Finnegan's

CityWalk - HRC or Margaritaville

I would be hesitant to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe again. They serve mediocre food at high prices, although the steak is tasty.

I believe Bubba Gump's is the only restaurant that doesn't take reservations. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
