How long will the Treasure do 7-nighters?

If the newest ship tends to do the 7-night WC/EC routes, does that mean that when the Destiny comes out she will do those and the Treasure will get bumped to something else? The thing is, I'm not sure what they could bump her to, though. Have even MORE ships doing the shorter sailings out of FL? Or have two ships doing 7-night routes in Bahamas/Carribean? I know that no one knows for sure, but just wondering what others speculate.

They already announced what the destiny is doing mainly 4, 5 nights to Bahamas, a little western stuff out of Ft Lauderdale. There are some 7 nights in the new Summer 2026 itinerary but it’s not the 7 nights eastern/western schedule that Treasure is doing. The Fantasy used to have the rotation before the Treasure took it .

Oh, good to know, thank you. So, is it safe to say the Treasure will keep doing 7-night WC/EC through, say, 2027? If there isn't another ship to take that place?

The 2027 ship will be another Triton-class ship. If somehow the Treasure was to be moved out of PC and/or affected to other type of itineraries, you would have a ship that is very similar to the Treasure, in design. Only DCL knows - but based on what is public knowledge right now, there is no reason to believe that the Treasure would be doing something else in 2027.

The previous commenter said they already announced the Destiny (the 3rd Triton one) will do the shorter sailings. So hopefully they stick to that. I have read the good and bad of the Treasure and still want to give it a try, but we are 5+ night sailings people who are hoping for a 7 on something not Alaska.

There’s still another Triton coming? I know the Tokyo Disney people are getting a Triton . When are bigger than Magic but smaller than Triton ships coming?

Isn't the Destiny a Triton? I don't think the Adventure (Signapore/Tokyo) counts as a Triton...it was built by someone else at first and then Disneyafied. It can take 6k in passengers and has three inside hallways...the deck plans alone make it a hard pass for me, as does the flight to Asia.

My understanding:
Magic and Wonder = Magic Class
Dream and Fantasy - Dream Class
Wish, Treasure, Destiny = Triton Class

Adventure = a one off

Newer ships coming 2028 and beyond are different yet again, mid-way between Magic and Triton, at least in terms of passenger capacity. Not sure if they have a name.

But someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am referring to Triton 4, which is in addition to the Oriental Land Company (2028) Triton build

You are correct. There will be two more Triton class ships, including the one being built for Japan

2029,2030 and 2031 on the so-called Meridian Class... and yes, another Triton coming in 2027

OHHH...wait, the Adventure isn't for Japan? There will be two in Asia? The one that I call the "one off" (Adventure) and another one?

I think Adventure is Singapore? It's the behemoth they bought partly done from another company.

Actually, the newest ship doesn't always to those routes. When the Wish came out they were only 3/4 night cruises. I doubt that will change when the Destiny comes out. I'm on a Destiny sailing in January 2026 and its a 5-night western out of FLL.

Adventure =Singapore and cruises to nowhere for at least 5 years

Triton 2028 = Japan based, and owned by a consortium led by OLC (the owner of Tokyo Disney)

Of the four ships they announced at D23, one will be Triton class (the first to be released, presumably because 2027 is too soon to have a new ship design ready) and then the following three will be the new in-between-size class. So in total we'll have:

2 Magic class ships
2 Dream class ships
5 Wish class ships (includes one operated by OLC out of Tokyo and one yet to be announced for 2027)
1 former Global ship (Adventure out of Singapore)
3 new midsize class ships

So I wouldn't expect any shakeup for the Treasure until the new ship joins in 2027 at the earliest (and maybe not even then, hard to say).

The Triton (Wish) class ship will be LNG-fueled, as are the Wish, Treasure, and Destiny. This likely means that it will also sail from the Florida ports, since they have built out the fueling capability.

The new midsize design will use a different approach to environmentally friendly fuel use, per the linked article. The first of these is projected to come online in 2029. Smaller size may provide enhanced opportunity for new ports that cannot accommodate the Triton class vessels.

The LNG issue really isn't a huge barrier. LNG, like fuel oil for the other ships, is provided by barge service.

With all the oil/gas industry in TX I'm sure Galveston can be easily served.
