How long will it take to get from OKW to AK by bus?

How much time should one allow (including waiting for the bus) to get from OKW to AK? Our goal is to be at AK at 9:00, when the park opens. Thanks!

I would allow at least a half hour in the morning. There will be numerous buses at that time, but it depends on if it is stopping at Blizzard beach or not. That would probably depend on the time of year.

I would allow at least 30 minutes. If you miss a bus at OKW it could be 15-20 minutes for the next one and then the ride to AK. You might want to ask what time the first bus to AK starts running and shoot for that one or one shortly after.

I think the buses still start running an hour before the park opens - concerning that it will probably take it around 45 minutes there and back - I would make sure I was on the first one!!!

they generally don't (or didn't) put a second bus on the route until the park opened up.

I would tend to agree with the cat---plan to be at the bus stop by 8:15 am at the latest. Any extra waiting around time is a good time for sunblock application.
