Our flight leaves Philly at 6:20am next Wednesday and arrives at MCO at 8:49am. We will be checking only one large suitcase. We also have a rental car reserved at National. If DH gets luggage at baggage claim while I get the car, do you think it's possible to get to the Polynesian by 10:00am? Hopefully the flight will be on time, too!

P.S. Where is National located in terms of baggage claim? We will be flying USAirways. Thanks!

:D

I think you could get to the Poly by 10 if you're on the road by 9:25. I'd take the Greeneway instead of the Beeline to avoid morning rush-hour traffic, especially on I-4.

What's the Greenway? Can you give me general directions??? Thanks so much!

You will arrive on level 3, baggage claim is level 2, rental cars are level 1.

Our USAir flight last month landed at about 11:40, we were at OKW around 12:50. Our luggage came pretty fast. We had Emerald Aisle with National, so that didn't take long.

We always take the Greenway. Follow the signs for South Exit out of the airport. You are then on a one lane road until you get to the exit for 417 South (Greenway). Once on 417, there are 2 $1 toll booths. We always get off at International Drive/Downtown Disney, but for the Poly you may want to take the next exit, not sure. National can give you a directions card for the Poly.

Thanks! You made great time! I hope we do as well!!!

Scanne.....not to dampen your excitement, but I have been flying USAir quite frequently out of Philly for business and I don't know what it is....but most of my flights have been extremely delayed taking off (at least over an hour & not due to weather). Usually we're stuck on the runway waiting in line. This is unusual, but my last 4 USAir flights have been like this over the past 2 months out of Philly.

Hopefully, since you're flying out at 6:20am, you may not have this problem. I think the USAir just added more terminal space in Philly.

But if you have to be somewhere in WDW by a certain time, I would allow for delays.
