How long to see points in account? (2nd Contract)

I purchased a second resale account - deed was recorded 6/12, the contract showed on my account 6/19 - so it has been over a week now and still no points. Is there a timeframe you would wait before calling member services? I don't need those points for another month but still i'd like to see them and know they are there. I was thinking of waiting until monday which would be 12 days post the contract showing up on my account. Thoughts?

I was told 7-14 days for contract to show and potentially another 14 for points to be added. Mine aren't there yet so we'll see if anyone else has more experience.

ETA: Closing was the Friday before Memorial Day. So, there was one less business day than usual.

It took 9 days after the contract appeared online for our points to show up. I was told 7-10 days because they are/were backed up right now.

I was also told they were pretty backed up at the moment and the points would take 2+ weeks to show up. After a week I called and asked if they could expedite since I was trying to catch a 7-month window that had just opened. That evening the points were in my account.

My closing was a couple of days before you on 6/10 and they just showed up today. I’d say give it another couple of days.

OP here. Points finally showed up on Friday 6/28, so I guess all in all we were just over 2 months from offer to points in hand. When you are in it the time feels like an eternity, but the wait is well worth the money saved!

It used to be so much faster to transfer the ownership and have the points in our account. I spoke with Member Service yesterday on a resale contract they received on June 25th. I was told it will take 10 business days to transfer the ownership and 8-10 business days to get the points in the system. We have purchased many resale contract and this is the longest it has taken for DVC to transfer and drop the points.

Agreed but the ROFR process used to make up for it.

It seems like it takes longer purchasing direct too, if I'm remembering correctly. We were looking for a small 30 pt contract to add on and finally gave up and bought them direct last week. Took a couple days for the points to show up. I remember on our other direct add on that the points were there that day.
