how long to get our member cards?

We contracted back on May 15 through Disney directly through Disney, and I was wondering how long it should take to get our blue member cards? We got the temporary ones, but I want my blue one!

We received ours about a 10 days after our closing was final. We purchased through Disney so I can't speak if you did a resale.

They are processed in batches. In the past they were done by a outside contractor. They would wait until the list would get to a certain length. I have been told that the DVC Sales Center can now print permanent cards. Don't know if it's true.

I was surprised when we got ours that they were so cheaply made.

I was expecting something more like a credit card.

I mean, these things are supposed to last at least a couple of years, right?

Did you get a temporary card or have they changed the cards?

Ours are like credit cards.

You can now get permanent cards at the SSR MS office. We did this about 2 weeks ago. It took about 5 minutes. They are heavy duty plastic, like a credit card.

No. We have our permanent cards, but they are like laminated heavy stock paper, not at all like a real plastic credit card.

We got just a paper card that says Temporary DVC member card, and we purchased on site on May 15.

It took about six weeks after closing to get our permanent ones. We closed the first week of April and didn't get the permanent cards until about two weeks ago!
