How long does it take to get from Coronado to Animal Kingdom Lodge?
And what is the best route to take?
Thanks!

Best route is to take a taxi or Uber. Otherwise if you use Disney buses to transfer they suggest you allow 90 minutes for travel.

Because of how close they are to each other, you will probably be better off using a ride sharing service (ie Uber) or taking a cab. If you use Disney transport, no matter how you go about it you will be going out of your way. Unless you take a bus to Animal Kingdom and then from there hop on a bus to AKL. Any other route will have you going in all kinds of crazy circles and eat up a lot of time.

Thanks for the maps and advice!
Follow-up question:
How do we get back to CSR after eating/visiting AKL. I'm estimating this will be around 8-9pm. AK park buses won't be running anymore, so what would be the best pit stop for us to transfer to a CSR bus?

AK buses should be running well past 9pm in Nov.

We stayed at Coronado last May and ate at Jiko one night, and Sanaa another night and also for lunch (we really like Sanaa!). We used taxis whenever we were coming from or going to Coronado. It was maybe 8min between the two, and extremely easy. I feel like it was maybe $12ish? Honestly, it's WELL worth the money to avoid the multiple buses to get you there. You might wait for just one of your buses longer than it would take you to ride the entire way in a taxi! We did the multiple bus thing from AKL to POR the prior year (changing buses in Downtown Disney) and it took forever - more than an hour. It was exhausting to do that with kids at the end of a long day. I plan everything to maximize our money/budget, and at a certain point I came to the realization that taking multiple buses to get from one resort to another wasted too much of our precious vacation time; when you think of it that way, it doesn't seem silly to spend a small amount on a taxi.

I believe uber tends to be cheaper than a taxi is, plus if you're new to uber you can get promotional credit to your account. But we hadn't tried uber ever at that point, and taxis are right there, with doormen to call them - so we went with that.

During our last three trips buses to and from Coronado have been minimal wait (less than 10 minutes....on average 5 minutes). We've taken multi busses frequently as in your case and have had no issues. Things can always happen though and everyone has a different experience. Ideally I would think from CSR to AKL using bus method would take about 25 minutes. But leave some wiggle room.

Well I dont know how much CS to AKL would be on Uber, but I did take an uber from Boardwalk E3 to Magic Kingdom and it was no more than $10 and it looks farther than CS to AKL. If youve never used uber you can get a code from someone for a free ride up to $15 usually

Really? I didn't know the buses kept running well past park closing. That is great news because that is the route we plan on taking. CSR-AK-AKL and vice versa.

9PM should not be too long after closing time in November, considering that Rivers of Light will be (should be) performing (likely two-three shows) by then.

They don't, but it's pretty unlikely that AK will be closing before that.

The buses will usually run for well over an hour after park closing time,
and, in the case of late night "spectaculars," they often run for over 2 hours after "closing time" to transport those who are slow to (or take their time to) exit the park.

What is an estimated time for the new light show at AK?

About which show and which date(s) are you asking?
Some are happening now. Some will be coming up in the future.
And, nearly all of these things can and will change over time and date.

Rule-of-thumb to judge the start-time of "after dark" shows at DAK:
Check the start-time of the first (or only) Fantasmic! show at DHS on that night.
Figure that any DAK after-dark first (or only) performance will begin at about that same time.
