How long to drive to Davy Crockett Ranch?

We are currently toying with the idea of a trip to DLP mid Feb. It would have to be a budget trip as we are saving for Florida in Sept 2007.

The cheapest way we have found is by booking the Davy Crockett Ranch direct with DLP and using our Tesco vouchers to pay for the Eurotunnel as we would need to drive.

Would anyone know how long it takes to drive to the Ranch once you are out of the Eurotunnel?

Depends how many times you need to stop. We took about 4 hours when we drove to the Santa Fe last year but for some of that it was snowing ;-) and we took it fairly easily. We also stopped once for a loo/coffee stop and once for lunch. It's 182 miles or thereabouts. It's a pretty easy drive, use www.viamichelin.com or www.mappy.com to print out your routemap and it even prints out pictures of the signposts to look out for on the Motorway junctions so you know where to come off!!

I think we took about 3 1/2 hours from Calais

took us 3.5 hours from calais - driving slowly to look at the views and with a toilet break half way there! its is actually alot easier to drive that we thought it would be - have done it 3 times now... saves loads - the eurostar was 90 each and the eurotunnel was only 35 each way...

We really like the look of the Davy Crockett Ranch. We have stayed at the Sequoia Lodge before and really liked it. But its coming out too expensive this time.

We have got a really good price for the Ranch direct with DLP on the net. I take it that you get unlimited entry to the parks when you book direct?
