How long to add on points at sold out resort?

I have be waiting for Sept YR BCV points (300) since June of 2004. Nothing.
I think I am first on the list too.....

Wow! That's just not a good thing, huh? I don't mind waiting as long as the price doesn't go up anytime soon! No resale options for you? I really don't want to go that route as I've enjoyed the transactions I've had with Disney direct.

We have been on the wait list for 150 BCV points with a December use year since June 2004.

Our guide recently informed us that we are 11th in line.

I called my guide on Thurs (7/28) about a 75 BWV addon and found out there were points available immediately. Had to have the "conversation"with DH and thank god he understands my addiction.....we are now the very happy owners of 300 BWV points, banking them for several trips in 2006/2007.

On August 2, 2005, I received a Fedex package containing documents for my 80 point add on, June use year, at the Beach Club. I was surprised because I didn't receive any call or notice from my guide, only the full blown package of documents, etc.

So, I was on the wait list from June 18, 2005 - August 2, 2005. If my calculations are correct, that would be 45 days.

I am so glad I have found this site. Have owned at BWV since '99 and am learning all sorts of new things. Like never knew could "buy" points even though BWV sold out. Can someone tell me what price/pts are?

Not sure if you're only keeping a list of WDW resorts, but I added on 36 points at HH with no wait (Oct. use year). My guide said they had a couple hundred points in Oct. use year.

trampslady..... Your guide should know where you stand on the list..but remember...being 1st doesn't always mean you are next.

Example:
If you are waiting for 100 pts., and the next person is waiting for 100 pts., and the 3rd person is waiting for 200 pts. Say Disney has 200 pts. to allocate. Disney (at their discretion...Grrrr ) can either split the points between you and the next guy..or...give all 200 pts. to the 3rd guy.

Your guess is as good as mine as far as the allocation

My feeling is that.... it is my guide who gives me the "official word" not a DIS thread.

My guide has told me that there is a wait list, by UY and where I stand on it.
We'll see!!
