How long till points in system?

Well I got our membership # today from MS, soit's official,we are members!
However, our points are not yet in the system. Any idea how long this will take? we are anxiousto make a reservation fro November,

When we joined, we went in MS' system on one day, and the points were put in the account the following day. Others have reported the same pattern, so I'm assuming the account is set up, accounting is notified, and then they put the points in.
