how long till Jan 2010 rates??

I have been bitten by the Disney bug. 3 weeks ago we had our first ever visit to Disney and now can not wait to get back. I want to start planning and paying for our next trip in Jan 2010. When should I expect to see rates?

Rates for 2010 will probably be out in August. If you are only interested in a room only reservation, then you can call now and make the reservation. They will charge you a one night deposit based on this years rates. However if you do this and do want a package, they will need to cancel the room only reservation when you make the package reservation and refund any money you have paid. They can't transfer the money from a room only to a package reservation.

My DD is turning 16 in Jan 2010 and asked to spend her sweet sixteen at the Hoop-de-doo review. Waiting for those Jan rates/packages too!

Hmmm, do they really wait til August to put out the rates for the following year? I don't remember waiting that long when I went in January in 2005 and in 2008.

I believe that before 2007 the rates would be released in May. But lately they have waiting until August to release the rates and packages. Seems rather late, but that is how it has been for the last few years. I know that when we went in 2006 that the rates were available around May of 2005, but for our trip this year that the rates were not out until August.
