We are looking at heading over arrival night for dinner so we may have the legs for it since hadn't done a park that day. Boats don't go hotel to hotel, right? I like the idea of boating over but not if it would be a hassle or too time consuming. I think we'd be headed over near the time the parks close so the boats may be packed. Any opinions?

The walk from the PBH boat dock to the HRH boatdock is 8 minutes. No, the boats don't run from one hotel to another. You could take the shuttle van which is located on the side of the PBH valet area. But then you'd probably have to wait for it to arrive. The walk isn't that far, and it's pretty. If you take your time, it will probably take about 10 minutes.

I had the same question. What about RPR ... do you just keep walking past PBH, or is it in another direction. We want to try Tchoup Chop, can we walk from HRH?

RPR is in the other direction from PBH. We stayed at PBH last summer and had dinner at Tchoup Chop. We took the boat there, but decided to walk off our dinner and walked back from RPR past HRH to PBH. We took our time and it was a nice walk. I would say it probably took us about 20 minutes, but we really were just strolling. Nothing on the property is all that far from anything else. PBH to RPH is about the furthest distance, so from HRH it would be even closer.

WHen we were there in early August, we noticed the hotels now offer a service between hotels and parks. Can't remember what it is called (ricshaw or something like that), but it is a person riding a bike with a seat that held 2 adults and a very skinny teenager (us). They worked on donations. We caught several rides this way. Much quicker than walking or waiting on the boat.

That sounds fun! thanks!, we'll look for one.

We walked from HRH to PBH with 2 grade school kids. It seemed to be a quick walk and was very pretty. You get a nice view of the bay as you approach the PBH.
