How long is the walk from...

Anyone know how long the walk is from Embassy Suites South? How much farther than if we were to stay at one of the hotels right across the street?

It is not at all what I would consider walking distance. Yes, you could walk it. And in the morning, it might not be bad. But at night its going to feel like you are walking forever! I would guess its close to a 30 minute walk. I would plan on using ART, or driving to the parking lot and taking the tram.

it is NOT within walking distance- your best bet is to take ART or drive if need be. We always stay there and we drive to the park (with AP parking). It is faster to take ART though- my brother stayed there with us last summer and even having to wait for 2 busses, he still made it back faster than we did driving.

I have stayed there, it is NOT walking distance. I mean it's a beautiful hotel and a wonderful place to stay, but you can't walk unless you are marathon runners or something.

We stayed next door at the Hampton inn and suites and it is NOT walking distance, especially with a double stroller with two kids in it and bags, etc... The great thing about the ART and the ES-south is that it is a straight shot to the hotel from the park, no stops. There is only 1 stop on the way to the park and I don't recall us ever picking anyone up on the way. Its a great hotel and great location but you'll be drained trying to walk it...If you do decide to stay off site, I would highly recommend one of the hotels in that parking lot because Art was fantastic there.
