How long is it taking to receive conf. letters now?

Hi everyone!

We are going home to AKV for the first time in May 2008.

How long is it taking now to receive confirmation letters? I know it was taking a couple of weeks late last year, but is it longer now?

There was a thread about this a while back, and I was surprised to learn that quite a few owners just don't receive confirmations at all! There were some who had never received a confirmation.

We always get them, but it seems to take 2-3 weeks at a minimum, and others reported 4+ weeks in some cases.

We have always received one with every ressie and always comes within 2 weeks.

Thanks for the response! If I don't receive it in another week, I will call. I guess I don't NEED one, but I WANT one!

We booked our first DVC trip, a 2BR and a studio, for next June day-by-day at the 11-month mark. We received confirmation for the studio that is in my brother's name within 3 or 4 days of our final call. Two months later, we still have never received anything on the 2BR that is under our name.

I have called several times to verify that we are booked and the confirmation number is correct. Everything is right, but we have never received anything by mail.

Hmmm, we got our confirmation and I swear it was like 10 days. We are still waiting for our Membership cards though.

The blue cards take forever. Seems like ours took a couple of months.

Ditto here. I always book at 11 months and the confirmation is in my hands no more than few weeks later. And I always have it in hand when we check in - just as insurance in case any issues come up.

I booked OKW for April about 2 weeks ago and got the confirmation on Tuesday--less than two weeks.

I made a reservation three and a half weeks ago--no confirmation letter yet. I've made three other reservations with MS and received the letter about a week and a half later.

I booked a studio for BWV on 9/4 and received my written confirmation in the mail yesterday (9/12)

Some ressies I receive the conformation within two weeks. This time, I have waited three weeks for my confirmation and still nothing--and I am renting and I need it badly. I requested another one to be mailed to me.

If I don't receive the confirmation in a timely manner, I call and one is mailed right out.
