How long is guardians typically down when it goes down?

Currently stuck in line for guardians and they announced the ride is down. How long is it typically down when this happened in the past? A quick fix? Or all day? I’m doing rider swap with my husband who’s outside with our baby so I’m not sure if I should wait this out or leave?
