How long is Chef Mickey?

We have a 8:00 pm PS at Chef Mickey the day we check in. We are staying in the Wilderness Lodge so we will be able to take the boat over to the Contemporary.

But the last boat leaves at 10:00 ( 2 hours after close of MK). Will we be able to do the Chef Mickey dinner and be back to the boat in 2 hours? When we show up at 8:00 how long do you think we will have to wait to be seated?

If you have PS, then you probably shouldn't have to wait more than 10-15 minutes. Chef Mickeys is a buffet, so dinner length won't be an issue. I wouldn't worry about making it back to the boat in time.

Thanks bogdigg. I assume since it is a character meal we will want to spend more time their than if we were just going to eat a regualr buffet meal though.

I wonder on average how much time people spend there in order to get the full affect of the dining experience with the characters?

Usually all the characters make it to your table in about 45minutes - 1 hour. You really don't need to spend that much more time there than that.
