How long is boat ride from Boardwalk to DHS?

How long does it take by boat to get to/from Boardwalk from DHS? Is it worth the wait or would it be faster to just walk?

Hi,

In general it will be faster to walk unless the boat is at the dock and getting ready to board. Of course, YMMV depending on the people in your party and their walking ability/speed!

After the boat boards and then leaves the Boardwalk, it then goes over to the Yacht/Beach Club dock for that unloading and boarding. After that process, it then goes over to the Swan/Dolphin dock for that unloading and boarding. Then, it's about seven minutes to the Studios. All total, the entire process between the Studios and Epcot (and vice versa) is about 25 minutes.

The walk from the dock of the Boardwalk to the entrance of the Studios? About 15-25 minutes depending on your group. Now, you can look at where your room exit is from the Boardwalk and then how long to get to the walkway and then decide.

Personally, in the morning when the day is bright and so are my feet, I'd do the walk. In the evenings? I ask my feet.

Walk. The boat is always an unknown. Unless you watch it pulling up, most people can move faster.

At Epcot's International Gateway.
That is located between the UK and France pavilions in World Showcase.

There are entrance gates, a ticket booth, a Guest Relations, stroller rental, and locker rental all there.

We just got back from the Boardwalk Villas and we went to DHS on Saturday 5-17.

We walked to DHS for park opening. It took just under 20 minutes.

When we went back to the room around 3:30 to take a nap we took the boat from DHS to the Swan/Dolphin boat dock and then walked back to the room. This took about 25 minutes.

Around 5:15 we walked back to the Swan/Dolphin dock and took the boat back to DHS. Again about 25 minutes.

After the Star Wars fireworks we took the boat all the way back to the Boardwalk dock and it took about 35 minutes total.

Thanks very much! We are all in good shape for walking, but we are going from DHS to BW for dinner at Flying Fish and then back to DHS, so I'm hoping not to get too hot and sweaty before a nice dinner.
