How long have you stayed in a DVC resort?

We just stayed 42 nights in a studio at SSR.

yeah, I think I want to know more about this.

How many people in the Studio (if it's 4, how did you not kill each other?)

How much weight did you gain?

Did you tire of eating out all the time?

Did you go to the parks every day?

Did you end up knowing all the Cast Members on a first name basis?

Our longest stay was 10 nights split equally between the THV and Kidani. We don't like to be gone much longer than that becuase we miss our furkids. We also live very close to DLR and like to spend certain weekend nights there.

We live on the West Coast so normally we like our trips to WDW be at least one week. However we would rather take more trips than take one really long one. While they are not consecutive nights, we will be spending 18 nights on Disney property this year!

13 nights during Christmas, 12 nights during Star Wars Weekends, and a nice long weekend during the F&W Festival.

13 nights at VWL has been our longest stay so far. We are staying 7 nights in July, 11 nights in November and planning 13 nights again in May. 31 total nights in a 12 month period... I can live with that!

Our longest so far is 13 nights. It was amazing. We have actually looked at how long we can stay when we finally retire. Right now it looks like 3 months. I can't wait. Only 15 more years to go!

The last few winters we have stayed for several weeks at SSR in a studio. It is just my wife and I. Breakfast and usually lunch and some dinners are fixed in the studio. We do bring along an electric fry pan. We figured it is cheaper eating one good meal out once a day than buying a lot of extra points for a one bedroom. We now have 1205 points that we use throughout the year. DVC is our home away from home, especially during the cold winter months of Wisconsin.

We typically stay for 10 nights at least once a year and then another stay for 4-5 nights. We usually get a 2 bedroom for the 10 night stay so it does eat up some points. I am looking forward to a 2-3 week stay with just DW and I once the kids go off to college in a few years

My longest trip thus far has been 30 nights at BWV, followed by 4 at BCV, all in a studio in Jan/Feb. Since I was solo most of the time, it worked quite well for me.

I am usually at WDW in Jan, then 8 nights in Oct, then 7 in Dec.

Oh my gosh, where do I begin? There are so many questions I need answered from you...
Did you visit the parks frequently?
Did you eat out all the time?
Did people come and stay and visit or were you alone the whole time?
Do tell!

We vary between 5 -7 nights depending if we are going anywhere else. We only travel to WDW once a year but since buying DVC at least we do go every year!!!! YEAH!

How do you book a 30+night stay? Do you do the first 7 when available then call every morning for the next 23 days? That would get old very fast! I know you are likely to get the room since you are at 11 months + 7 days when adding on a room, but what happens if you forget and have to waitlist a night smack dab in the middle of a month long stay?

Our longest DVC trip was 8 nights for a hurricane evac.

3 nights at SSR, 2 nights at VWL, and 3 nights at AKVJV.

Most of our trips are 5-6 nights average.

I do visit the parks often, especially Epcot, as it's right next door to BWV. I don't go every day, but almost.

I eat out some, but I also get things to go from various places. And I have groceries (for sandwiches, etc.)

DH visits for a few days, and I have friends who are there at the same time, but I do have lots of solo time, too. Which I am fine with. ;)

When it's time to make DVC reservations, I do NOT forget! :rotfl2: That is my main focus everyday. ;)

Actually I could see this as being one of the so called "tiered benefits" that they may start offering. If you have a thousand points you should be able to reserve more than 7 consecutive days.

Our longest stay was 7 nights in a 2BR at OKW followed by 7 nights in a 2BR at BCV. I thought it would be too long...not so! It was heavenly and went by so quickly!!
