How long have you been DISing??

Four years this month ago!!!! (I know my date is Feb 2000.....computer glitch )

Wow!!! I can't believe it's been that long.........I can't believe I'm still very computer illiterate after all the hours logged on here!!!

Gosh, the DIS has really become a big part of my life!!

Im the newbie here, LOL! Ive only been here since August of 2000. We were planning the land/sea package for October and my sister found this site, but I just stayed on the cruise board at first. Then I became addicted, especially over here on the CB, and my sister still lurks.

It will be six years this April. I had just gotten my first computer, and was searching out Disney sites when I came upon the DIS. Only one or two boards back then, learned about APs, and booked a mom and daughter trip for August 98 at the BWI on an AP rate. Was hooked on the DIS ever since. Those were the days when CathyCanada was a regular DISer, JackieNovaScotia was a regular poster, along with Analirha. I think Pete still lived in NJ (not sure), and everyone basically knew everyone else cause the site was still relatively small. Wow, what a long way the DIS has come!

I've been DISing for 4 years this month. I found the DIS in January of 2000 shortly before my May 2000 WDW trip. I loved all the information, but hadn't quite learned all the ins and outs of planning a WDW vacation yet--we paid rack rate for our rooms on that May 2000 trip! LOL! Thank goodness for the DIS or I might've paid full price on all my other trips.

I joined when I was planning our Disney honeymoon, so at first I was only on a few of the trip planning boards- I didn't even realize there were so many other boards until a few months after I joined. I still lurk more than I post, but I've been posting a lot more recently!

I found the DIS right after my honeymoon trip in 1997 so it had to be in 1998. I lurked for awhile then found the courage to log on. I've learned so much over the years. I don't post that often but, I seem to be on a roll lately!!!
I also remember when it was just 1 board! Wow it's come a long way.
So to answer your question about 6-7 years!!!!
