DH & I purchased our 200 pts. at SSR aboard the Disney Magic in Sept. 2005. We had also been on the fence for several years before but when you have 2 kids in college and weddings to pay for......need I say more! We have made 3 DVC stays since Sept. 05 with the fourth coming up in early Dec.

May 2000 for our first contract. January 2006 for the 5th contract. I think it'll be our last. Of course I said that after the 1st add on also.

Right with you! I don't think we'll ever sell, but if we had to (at this time), we would get back everything we put into it. Great fun, great everything, and a great investment too. If you're thinking about it... DO IT!

I think you and CaskBill have the highest ranking at this point. Though Spiceycat (Pat J.) didn't say when she joined? We didn't even know about DVC in 1993.

We just bought today!!!

We rented points for a trip we took this week, took the tour on Tuesday, thought about it overnight (had to decide how many points), left a message for our guide on Wednesday and made the big leap this evening when he called us back! (He was off Wed/Thursday!) Paperwork is in the mail!!

How cool is that??? I'm already picking dates on the calendar!

I considered it for 6 months, ran all the numbers and was amazed at how well it worked for us - never waivered from this view

Timeshare still has a 'dodgy' reputation in Europe so a few friends thought we were mad. We've added on 5 times since!

It will be 5 years this month! We added on days after the original contract and then when BCV came to be. We only wish we had bought sooner.
