How long for your ta to book?

I am a little disappointed because I had previously booked with du and I asked them to transfer my booking to march 23 2013 cruise on the fantasy ( the day before booking I luckily sent my ta a reminder email). I got an email the next day surprised that bookings opened and she booked it. This was at about 1015 in the morning. Category I wanted but I was disappointed with the price being high for 2 adults, but it was okay 4e for 3874. It was only two adults, my boyfriend and I. Now seeind all these glitch cruises for the date I had wanted all along, I am extremely disappointed I didnt do it myself. I check the website and boards most mornings and just didn't yesterday but if I was looking to do it myself I prob would have,I just entrusted my ta. How long did it take for your TA to book for other people yesterday morning because now I'm thinking 1015 was kind of late.

I'm just kicking myself I didn't get the glitch since I wanted that date all along.

Didn't know anything about the glitch, well done to anyone who got them.
Personally if I am booking a cruise I do it myself then transfer it to DU when I have secured what I want.
Unfortunately DU are a very busy TA when new itineries are released I doubt they can get thru all the quotes as quick as some would like.
You might be better asking your question in the cruise section rather than here in UK trip planning.
I love Disney cruising but can't see us doing it in the forseeable future, they have outpriced me.

I am also not happy with the response times from my DU agent. I prefer to book the cruise myself now as I have full control over my booking. In the past I have booked with DU purely because I can get some OBC from them but usually I had to wait longer than I like for any response from my agent.
If I see a lower price for a lower category come available and I want to grab that room I had to email DU and wait for them to take action. This usually takes too long and by the time they get back to me that room has already gone !
Now I book direct with DCL and whenever I see something I want I can take action immediately myself and no more wait ! That is worth giving up the DU OBC to me !
