How long for points to show up?

We just purchased a Boardwalk contract, and I received an e-mail tuesday morning saying that the transfer of ownership was made. My question is, how long does it usually take for points to show up? The e-mail said to allow a couple days, but should I wait a couple more before calling member services? I'm extremely eager to book because we want to go in July, and I'm watching the availability disappear before my eyes!!
 
Our points showed up 2 days after the contract appeared online. It can't hurt to call, but I don't think that it will do any good. You're waiting for the group that adds the points to your contract to process them. Unless something has gone wrong, it's just a waiting game.
 
You could always call and choose option 2, then 2 again on the phone menu. That's what I had to do. They weren't showing up on day 5 so I called, was told there was a problem that would be checked into. They called me back an hour later and I had my points. Good luck!
 
My timeline is in the "passed ROFR" thread in purchasing DVC discusion board. I don't remember exactly but I called twice a day until I was in the system. Once in the morning, and once later in the afternoon.

I know that I was in the system and able to log in and view my account, but it took 1 more day after that before the points were loaded and was able to make my first reservation.
 

It took eight days from when I closed on my last contract until I could see the points on dvcmember.com. I closed May 8 & the points showed up May 16.
 
Thanks, everyone! I actually gave myself a 4:00 cutoff time before I called, and they were actually loaded just minutes before that! ROFR took forever, but it took only 6 business days for the contract to be sent from the title company and points to be loaded.
