How long for Narcoossees dinner?

How long should I plan for a dinner at Narcoossees? I want to be able to book something to allow for Wishes viewing, but I want to enjoy a nice, leisurely dinner as we will be celebrating our Anniversary that night.

We usually book a table at opening, so that may factor into it (since we get seated immediately). But we usually spend about two hours at Narcoossee's. It's our most leisurely meal of each trip. We absolutely love it there...fireworks or not!

During our August trip we had an 7:50 PM ADR and Wishes was at 9 PM. We had just finished our main course when it was time for Wishes. We went out and watched Wishes and then returned inside for dessert.

Wow....I have the chance for a 6 pm reservation, but with Wishes at 8:00, I thought that 2 hours would be too long in between. I guess not!!!

I also thought of making the reservation for 8:30 after Wishes, and that way we wouldn't have to worry about it during the meal.

This is what we're doing for our anniversary dinner in November.

We had a 7:40 ADR a couple weeks ago and showed up about 7:15 (our "strolling the grounds of the Grand Floridian" plan was rained out). Wishes had been scheduled for 9 but got pushed to 10 right before we left. We were seated about 7:20 and finished dinner about 8:50. We had bread, entrées with wine, and dessert with tea (if that helps you plan how long it will take).

We were going to boat to the MK to try to catch the end of SpectroMagic, but instead ended up having to dock at the Poly to watch the Electrical Light Pageant go by, then got to the MK at about 9:30--exactly on time to grab prime seating at the train station to watch Wishes. The best laid plans, etc.--it worked out so much better than my original plan.
