How long will it take to see these things at MGM??

Muppet Vision 3D
Star Tour
Lights, Motors Action Show
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Playhouse Disney

I know that some of it depends on the timing of the shows - this would be on a Non EE morning - and we would be there at opening - we HAVE to see the new stunt show as my DS is dying to see it, but if we have to skip Playhouse Disney that would be ok.

TIA for any ideas!

You can get fastpasses for Star Tours and the Lights, Motors, Action show. You can control your schedule a little bit that way. I would allow 30 minutes for Muppets 3-D. We saw that attraction on Friday, Nov. 11, and they load a large amount of people in the theatre for each showing. I haven't done the other 3 things on your list recently, so I can't help with those.

Little mermaid is a fast pass attraction as well.

The Stunt show is only offered three times during the day so I would look at those times and work from there.

This is actually an achievable goal without spending all day at the park. If you get there at 9 when the park opens, go right to Star Tours, then view the Muppett 3D. We just got back from Disney, and in the first week of November there was a Lights, Motor Action show at 10:20. Assuming the times do not change, you can do both Star Tours and Muppetts before the 10:20 LMA show, which lasts about a half hour. Then, after you get out of the show at about five before 11, depending on the time of the Beauty and the Beast show, either go see Little Mermaid on the way to B&B, or get a Fastpass for LM and see it after B&B. (If the B&B show is not till 12:30, you might even be able to sneak in a quick lunch before the show.) You will then have everything but the Playhouse done by 1:00. I know nothing about the Playhouse, so you are on you own for that one. Hope this helps.

With the items you mentioned, I would count on spending the day there. You don't want to rush around to much and drive yourself crazy - take your time inbetween the shows and take in the sights - MGM is a great place to visit!!

Thanks. This sounds PERFECT!

Depending on when you are there and the crowd levels you may have to wait through one or even 2 cycles of the show. Our first trip (late April, after Spring Break season) crowds were very managable and the ONLY thing we waited forever for was Playhouse Disney (and in the rain!).

Last year, beginning of Dec, we walked right into the first show of the day. The earlier you go the better.

Unless you have have preschoolers that are just NUTS for the characters I don't recommend waiting if the line is that long, or you have something else to do. My dd (3 and 4 during our trips) LOVES Playhouse Disney on TV, but didn't really enjoy the show. It is so hard for the little ones to see what is going on and the floor is so uncomfortable that she wanted to leave.

Much more worth it to wait in line for Little Mermaid or Muppets!
